I should've known that this complex was bad just from how they treated me before I even moved inFirst, I'll address the service providedThe service from the office and maintenance staff is subpar to say the leastThe office staff never answers the phone, they are verbally promising to take care of issues, and they're terribly understaffedFor example, I've sat in the lobby numerous times waiting in a line of peopleDuring one of those many times, I had witnessed the male office employee speak loud and rude to the residents and especially to the minority residents; there is a large amount of residents (mostly students) from the Middle East and South AsiaMost days, no one is ever there when they are neededAlso, it seems as if they have a people off of the street running the officeThey aren't knowledgeable of anything and they screw up any document pertaining to your leaseThey sent me my lease with a Welcome letter and none of my leasing documents were signedIt wasn't until I went to the office and showed them and of course, they backdated the entire document which is obviously unethicalI couldn't say too much because I really needed a place since moving to Tampa spur of the momentFurthermore, I had many issues with the unit itselfThe appliances are terribly out of date (I may have the first stove ever), insect fest, and the plumbing is horrible (toilet runs all day and my sink water is a paste-like color)Secondly, for the square footage, service, and complex community, Eagles Point is definitely overpricedThey raised my rent to $for sq, outdated appliances, and I don't even have a reserved parking spaceIn fact, I have to always fight for parking when I get homeThirdly, their Resident Portal is a load of ***It will list amounts you must pay but doesn't indicate what you're being billed forTheir website will also double the amount you owe and they will not tell you about this error unless you bring it upOverall, I really don't like this place and it was literally my only option upon moving to TampaSave yourself the money and stress and don't more here
