High pressured salesmen who are actually con artists who prey on scamming people should be held accountable for a change instead of the consumer.
My husband and I were in St Maarten on vacation. While shopping, we were approached by 'Mary' to come inside her skincare spa for help with my wrinkles. The staff encouraged me to try a skincare line, D'OR 24K for my aging skin, I'm 58. They had me sit down and began to put several products on half of my face so we could see the differences. Then Don, the owner happen to stop in. Apparently, he is always flying to many of his salons located on other islands, the U.S, as well as in NJ.
He introduced himself and brought me a glass of wine. He started asking me many questions regarding aging skin, sun spots, wrinkles, etc. During this time, Don repeatedly expressed how I was a beautiful woman and how he could resolve all my aging skin problems. He instructed me that by using these products exclusively, I would get the same results as a surgical face lift and the results would last longer. He mentioned how facelifts cost tens of thousand of dollars and involves quite a bit of downtime. He re-emphasized how inexpensive his products were compared to a facelift plus this was a non-surgical procedure as well.I mentioned, I liked the day and night regimens, but I couldn't afford any more. I had already bought the Non Surgical Lifting Serum for $150 prior to his arrival. Don spent over two hours repeating, reselling and playing on my emotions. In addition, he told me that he was on Ellen, Oprah and Dr. Oz with his products and several celebrities used his products.
He told me I needed these products and 'money was not important!" He insisted that I deserved them and how much better I would feel about myself. I told him what my husband and I made annually to explain why I could not afford it. It was then, Don said, "don't worry, I will take care of you. I know you are both good people." Next, he started giving me a ridiculous amount of product for FREE!! Mary, his assistant remarked how she could not believe he was giving me all this for free and that he never did that for anyone else. He then showed us the Perfectio X which is a medical level infra-red device. He explained that it could be used for reducing age spots, wrinkles, rosacea, etc. He told me he was giving me one because he 'liked' us and it would definitely help with the results. Then, he gave one to my husband too in which he turned it down because he would not use it, but Don insisted saying it was a 'GIFT' because he could tell 'we were good people'. During this time, Mary keep filling up my wine glass.
Don told us he would ship the items to NJ so we didn't have to pay tax and it would not weigh down our suitcases. He wanted us to take the Perfecto X devices that day so we could start using it. Again, my husband informed him that he did not want one. To this, Don responded, "how can you turn down a gift from me?" Next, he took them out of the boxes they came in, explaining how customs would know the products were newly purchased and charge us more taxes. Then Mary took the devices and immediately registered them online so "we wouldn't have to bother later."
The next day, I called Don and told him I truly could not afford it on my salary. As it was, I had to use two credit cards to pay for these items. He replied, "I could make payments so it would be less per month!" Also my receipt had a charge for two Perfectio X at $6000 each!! He listed all the skin care products he gave at zero charge. I reminded Don that he gave us these devices for free. He became flustered and repeatedly said, "what difference does it make how it was listed and charged on my receipt and I should be happy. He stated no refunds only exchanges within 14 days. THIS WAS NOT STATED ON MY RECIEPT OR IN STORE.
Unfortunately, we left the island two days later. Since I have been home, I have tried to contact Don, but he doesn't want to hear it. Now, he ignores me. He has made his sale and received his commission or whatever.

Researched TALLA/DOR 24K company/claims on-line. Could could not verify claims or freshness. Unsuccessfully attempted to return goods 4 times.
Purchased $426 cosmetics from TALLA,DOR 24K/Stuart 3/21/2019/ invoice #XXXXX. Paid with VISA as I felt this was safe. Researched TALLA, DOR 24K products on-line. Could not verify claims or freshness as items were unsealed w/ no markings. Expressed concern to Talla/Stuart. Contacted DOR 24k/Miami corporate office who confirmed unsealed nature and lack of freshness dates. Products were never used as there were too many warning signs. Revisited vendor 3 times to return products. Salesman was always absent and products were refused.

Initially contacted VISA 4/11/2019 who assured me resolution. Per VISA I returned the goods to DOR 24k/Miami, 6/21/2019. The items were refused.

Desired Outcome

Honor complaints, be less dismissive and arrogant.
