Mr [redacted] ordered a vehicle from Carriage FordWe had him sign a paper that this was the vehicle he wantedWe require a $good faith depositAll are non-refundableWhy take it otherwiseHe changed colors before it was scheduled to just like one we already had and have had trouble selling Most of the time the reason is because of the colorJust as the vehicle was set to arrive, Mr [redacted] decided he'd rather have a Honda and wanted his money backHe says he "gave" us a vehicle for our inventory which is comicalWe don't want it and are now paying interest on itWe offered him something beyond normal, which was in lieu of the car he had already agreed to buy, he could spend his $on anything we hadHe chose not to do so and leave his agreed to depositThe human hours for nothing in this case alone represents our positionWe take a good faith deposit to protect our people and our business.The offer still holdsHe has $towards anything he wants at Carriage Ford.Thank you, [redacted] ***

Please be clear - what *** refers to is what I worked out with Ford directly based on MY extended warranty and the transportation and $of materials/labor he is referring to was PAID to Carriage Ford by FORD CORPORATE due to a warranty issue and had NOTHING to do with the treatment of the dealership. Thus the dealership and Mr*** did NOTHING to compensation for the major issues in customer service, failed promise dates, and follow through.It's interesting that he chooses to believe he did something when his people told me that there was nothing they were going to do and left me to fin for myself with Ford without even offering to assist.This is by far the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They didn't call me back at all on the 1st day, promised me it was done on day and I made a trip for nothing, promised me again it was done on day and I made another trip for nothing, then had it done on day after promising me it would be done day from the get go. Mr*** can credit me the fees he charged, OR:1) he should compensate me for the time lost at work on trips (2x my hourly rate + gas) $+ = $155.802) he should compensate me for the insurance I took out on the rental from Tuesday to the following week since he should have had my vehicle done by that date. $55.003) he should compensate me on the toll fees I incurred that couldn't be discounted because he took longer than hrs as promised on my vehicle $11.00(that total is $if he'd prefer not to discount it the $I requested)Again, it speaks volumes that this man's own employees apologized profusely to me about his arrogance and even came outside again to apologize to me and telling me they agreed that I should not have been charged.I am sure he will refuse to do anything to make this right given the type of person he appears to be. I do not want this to be resolved and do not remove this from his Revdex.com profile

Thank you for bringing Mr***’s concern to our attentionAfter researching the repair and speaking with the technician and writer, I have come to the conclusion that his request for a $refund has been denied.Repair Order #***, shows a $goodwill discount appliedThe total bill
was $1,533.46, after the goodwill adjustment the bill came to $1,209.14.I am enclosing a copy of his repair order which shows the following repairs: A battery, 4-wheel alignment, oil change and tire rotation and power steering repairMr*** also stated in his complaint that a Ford Certified technician stated that they replace both the power steering pump and rack as one repair, which is what we didThe power steering repair was adjusted $325.00, which covered the cost of the power steering pump plus some extra.I am enclosing copies of his bill before and after the adjustment.*** *** Shop Foreman Carriage Ford Inc

*** *** , I was Never informed that the was non-refundable I did change color's , but I also changed my mind on buying the car on order Before it ever got to Carriage Ford's dealership , and IF Carriage already had a car on site like the one ordered , then WHY did they NOT sell that unit to me ? I offered to pay a penalty to Carriage for time used by employee's , but NOT the whole The Sales Mgr *** *** , was adament that NO money would be refunded to me I even suggested that carriage ford give the to my salesman , and again *** *** , refused Ir , to me ALL comes down too the fact that I was NEVER told that this money was Non-Refundable NEVER And *** *** was Never involved in this situation , or meetings .*** J***
