Michael's ability to work with the individual client's circumstances reflects highly upon his management abilities and future as a managerVery rarely will a company assist a customer once a purchase has been made however, due to unforeseen circumstances, Michael's compassion and business sense made us a loyal customer

Promised a trade in value and promise wasnt not honored
In April I put a forevermark solitaire on layaway and promised a trade in value for my wifes current diamond on the amount of $When I arrived to make final payment process the trade in and get the ring I was told the best they could was $350- I was given a refund but feel lied to

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon with intentions to browse For almost years, we browsed for an engagement ring/wedding bands at various jewelry stores, chains, online, catalogs & even price clubs We knew what we liked as far a metal, gem, carat, size, shape, clarity & setting Moreover, we were sure that we did not want the typical cookie cutter set We did not expect to find what we were looking for in this afternoon trip My patient husband never complained as we went through this process We both believed it was too important to rushKnowing my personality upgrading would never work for me It would emotionally devalue the symbol of our loveWe entered the International Diamond Center on Dale Mabry with a slight amount of apprehension Tammy greeted us with her inviting smile We were not sure if we would find what we wanted We had decided on selecting a wedding ring skipping the engagement ring for me & a band for him Tammy made us feel comfortable and invited us to "play in the jewelry box" That surprised us Of all the stores, we perused looking for engagement/wedding rings no one ever made us feel comfortable enough to look through everything It took time to get used to that level of comfort surrounded by a wide array of beautiful jewelry
Tammy got us She saw that we had an idea/image of a ring in mind and she did everything to help us find our vision She introduced us to Kimberly and we showed her the pieces that caught our attention Kimberly also answered 1000+ questions & looked through a dozen images I had saved on my PinterestEventually we saw a ring that we both loved We planned to elope so we wanted an engagement/wedding ring all in one We found everything we wanted that day We felt the ring was a gorgeous statement piece and we wanted to personalize itWe restyled the ring with input from the IDC team IDC has informative staff extremely knowledgeable about brands, styles, trendsWe spent less time choosing my husband's band; however, it was not an easy choice We chose a band that is a great compliment to my engagement/wedding ring Both were ready for pickup in just a few days if I remember correctlyWhen we picked up our rings, they were perfect We were so elated He proposed again & I said YES again! We both decided the ring we selected will now be our engagement ring and searched for a band to compliment it We cheated on IDC It was my idea We went to a high-end retail jeweler closer to home Saw a lovely band that would have gone perfectly with the ring The price for that band did not reflect its value We left without the band and headed to the Mall We figured we would head over to a well know jewelry store chain for my band Found a similar band to match my ring We ordered it and took an oath; NEVER tell Tammy and Kimberly over at IDC A few days later, the band arrived and I went to pick up the ring The sales person treated me terribly I still picked up the ring even though my instincts told me to cancel order and run fast run far I was halfway through the mall before I realized she never put it in a boxI went back and some of the same poor customer service again, but this time I left with my box!
I tried on the ring that evening I did not like the feel It felt wrong if that makes any sense It felt flimsy so we decided to return the band to the store at the Mall When we returned to IDC, I told Tammy we cheated and it did not work out I waited for the attitude Boy was I wrong She listened We explained to her what we wanted & our budget She said the magic words "play in the jewelry box" and that is what we did We found the perfect band/price/value Should have never wasted time going to other places In addition, while we were looking for the band, IDC cleaned my now engagement ring! I never expected that level of service Especially after "cheating" We also purchased my bridal jewelry from IDC that day We had a long wait for the earrings Tammy kept us informed on the status of the order This freed me to focus on planning the elopementWe are now regulars at IDC we do not wish to purchase anywhere else The quality, price, & level of service alone is reason enough to be a regular customer FYI...No Commission here Being awesome is just what they do

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Alvin Afor his excellent service during our visits to IDC Alvin is very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating He makes good suggestions and offers advice in order to help his customer make the right decision on their purchase Since being introduced to Alvin, we no longer shop for jewelry elsewhere
