This company is very greedy and do not care about the customers after the sale Good luck on them coming to your home to do some follwork My question is why will they not come do some follwork on their own homes that they built? It will only be extra money for them I called the company several times in the past only to be told someone would come out, which was a lie I even saw one of the workers at a store,( Roy), and he promised to come out but did not do it Sorry but my friends who purchased their homes from Rose Anne Erickson do get their help It is sad that this company does not follow their motto of being "the builders of excellence." I will be referring all of my friends to Rose Anne Erickson in the future
I purchased a house from Ray Wright Builders in in their Garrett Pines subdivision which they are developing in conjunction with Grayhawk Builders It is a one story brick homeWhen we purchased the home, the street behind us only had homes built halfway down from the subdivision entranceOur street was fully developed within one year of our purchaseOur house was one of the ten or so houses that were at the end of our street farthest from the entranceThis means there were no homes, just empty lots behind our ten housesThree years later they started to build houses on these vacant lots on both sides of the street behind usImagine our dismay when we discovered that they were building two-story homes behind all our housesBefore this there had been no two-stories in the subdivision In one fell swoop they not only deprived us from any privacy but dropped our home values at the same timeSo much for installing a six foot privacy fence which because of the covenant, had to be a shadow-box fenceThese fences cost more than a regular wooden fence yet give less privacy because at the slightest angle you can see right through themNot long after moving in, we spent an extra $to buy the wooden slats to fill the gaps on our side of the fenceIn fairness to them, it was written into the covenant that two-stories were allowed to be builtI get that, but if they had any decency as a company or as good people they would have finished out our side of the street behind us and started building the two-stories on the other side of the street behind us which at the time had only woods behind themIf we had wanted people looking down into our homes we could have purchased a two-story back-to-back with another oneSure, shame on us for not reading the covenant closely enough, but even more shame for these greedy developers to act like they just have to have a covenant to ensure that property values remain intact while at the same time degrading our property valuesThe ones we bought from them in good faithThe owner should take his father's name off of their company, because when the company was run by Ray Wright I do not believe this would have happenedI grew up in this town having respect for Ray Wright because of all the good things I heard about him and his companyIf Ray Wright has passed away, I'm pretty sure he's rolling over in his grave based on the greedy actions of his son
