This is the worst company my family has ever dealt withThey had my brother's car for over months to replace the engine and they did not fix a thingThey actually made it worse by stealing parts from itWe were told on multiple occasions that the car was "almost done" and only needed some "final touches" and we later found out we were told this information "to keep us happy" and none of it was trueWe finally had enough with all the lies and had to call the police to have the car returned to us, because when my parents went to the shop to pick it up they were threatened by the owner's husbandWe then took the car to a different mechanic who told us that it would take over $1200, to fix the original problem, engine replacement, as well as the damage that Earles Automotive did while it was in their possessionWe were advised that there was a broken drive shaft, missing catalytic converter, broken air filter housing - they snapped all bolt tabs off, the radiator was unnecessarily removed, transition bolts are lost, missing engine mount, and we were told that the replacement engine that they purchased, with our $upfront payment, had thrown a bearingThere was also body damage done to the rear of the car that was not there before they had itNot only did they steal all of this from my family, they have threatened us on multiple occasionsAt one point the owner's husband threatened to literally cut my dad's head offMy Mother was then threatened by the owner herself after posting her own review on GoogleThis is NOT a professional company and they have no business working on anyone's vehicleUnless your intention is to let them steal from you and make the problem so much worseLearn from our mistakes and do NOT let them touch your vehicleI would give them a negative star review if possible

They had my son's car for close to months We were lied to about the progress The car was taken to them for a new engine They at one point were our friends and we had to call the police to even get the car back When we did get the car the engine was not in, which we were told it wasWe took it to a real mechanic To actually replace the engine and parts it was going to be $ They had basically trashed the car in the months they had itTore things out that didn't need to be taken out, stole the catalytic converter which has nothing to do with an engine replacementThe REAL mechanic said this guy has no idea what he is doing Since this has happened we have received threats from them If they have your car pick it up now They also sell parts off of cars for money

Bad Business! We paid $to have a transmission rebuiltMy husband put the transmission back in his truck, after repair and only had 1st gear and reverseContacted the owner, finally got ahold of himThe owner planned to come look at the issue different times, on different days and never showed upNow has a disconnected cellphone and hasn't contacted my husband in daysA year warranty was included and now we are down $with a transmission that still doesn't work

I was written warranty's from this companyHe will not stand by either because I had to take my truck to a shop to get it properly fixed

DO NOT go here if you want a working transmissionI had a transmission rebuilt here, installed it only had 1st and 2nd gearI was told to drive it to the shopI did, I waited hours and the issue was not resolvedThen I was told I needed to leave the vehicle so it could be resolvedI did, days in a row I was told it would be done that day and it wasn'tThen I was told the vehicle would be delivered back to Des Moines, it wasn'tFinally Sunday he assured me he would bring it back at 7pmAfter several calls he shut his phone off, his friend ended up bringing it down at in the morning then I had to give him a ride to a motelAfter all this it was leaking, upon further inspection I discovered ALL the pan bolts were left looseThen after all this trouble they had the nerve to send me a $bill, and to top it all off the transmission went out again less than two months laterAbsolutely ridiculous experienceI gave them star because wasn't an option

on 5/3/i contacted this business looking for a 700rchevrolet transmissionthey assured me they had one sitting on the shelf rebuilt and ready to goi confirmed this a few different times with the owner and was reassured it was rebuilt and readyi drove hours for this transmission and was told $for iti arrived on 5/4/and the transmission was not complete and they were in the process of rebuilding it as I was therei stood there waitng 2-hours for it to be finishedthey then told me they didnt have the valve body gaskets to complete the rebuild and would give me the option to pay now or later and promised to deliver it to my home address the morning of 5/5/i decided while there to go ahead and pay the business for the service and get my receiptsinvoice/receipt #XXXXXX which on the invoice states in the comments "to be delivered to customer residence on 5/5/in which
