Review: I gave this man 2,550.00 dollars for an apartment back in august and he never came through with no apartment. he kept telling me I was turned down because of my credit. so I asked him to help me with my credit so that I can get a place and up to this day he haven't done that. September 27, I seen him on the [redacted] news for fraud and not giving people a place as well.I called him and told him I would like my refund back that night and up to today I haven't received anything. he keep telling me a few more days and how his assets is now frozen and a whole bunch of other stories in my ear about how he trying to make some income so that he can pay me. which means he still trying to scam people to pay me. he definitely needs his business shut down so that he won't be able to take nobody else money that we work hard for.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund of 2,550.00 or i'm gonna have him arrested. I was told that he have the right to keep 250.00 of my money because I signed a contract. I feel that he shouldn't be entitled to that because this is an ongoing thing with him. I was told he have been doing this for years and everybody including your business is aware of this man. i'm just finding out after I seen him on [redacted] news. his business needs to be shut down and license needs to be revoked.

Review: [redacted] the realtor I found to look for an apartment for me took $2,500 from me for first rent and 1/2 deposit and never provided any keys for the apartment. I called [redacted] and he just gives me the run around or hang ups or doesn't pick up his phone at all. I was supposed to be moved in into my apartment on September 1st and it's September 13th and I still have no key and he hasn't given me my $2,500 back.Desired Settlement: I want the key or my $2,500 back

Review: Nonpayment of security deposit.

Nonpayment of security depositDesired Settlement: Would like my security deposit in the amount of $850.00

Review: I was beat out of 225.00 dollars and did not get the apartment I was promised.

I gave my landlord a 30 day notice and had to move by march 1.I gave maurice earley a 1000.00 dollar deposit for an apartment he promised would be ready by that time. I also paid a 25.00 dollar application fee. The apartment was not ready by that time and I was left homeless. When I went to see Maurice he wrote me a check for 800.00 dollars and claimed it was not his fault. He did not care that I had no where to live but was upset he had to give me money back. He's unprofessional and I would not advise anyone to work with him.Desired Settlement: $200.00 dollars

Ms. [redacted] to came me for help in February. She explained the urgency needed in finding a new home, however she was very selective on what she wanted regardless of the urgency in her situation.

I fulfilled my duties in finding her a new home. She is a RAP recipient in which works like Section 8 as well. I found an apartment for her the landlord accepted the application and signed all section 8 paperwork. The inspection was held, however it did not pass the inspection and the landlord refuse to fix anything that had to be fixed per Section 8. In that case it was not my fault and I can't force or obligate the landlord to fix or repair his own home if he does not want to.

Ms. [redacted] came to my office wanting to cancel her contract, I did not intentionally keep her money nor give her the run around she asked for her deposit back and I did as asked and refunded her the $800 and the retainer remained with the company as the contract states. If she wanted to resolve the issue and continue searching for a different apartment I would have been more than happy to assist her. However it seemed that she had already had her mind made up in cancelling.

As far as the $25 that is a processing fee which clearly states on the application it is a NON REFUNDABLE processing fee.

Should there be any further questions please feel free to contact me directly. I would be more than glad to answer any questions or concerns.

Because Mr.Earley was not doing his job which would be making sure that this apt would pass the inspection so I could have somewhere to live I lost my program and I am unable to pay full rent of a 3 bedroom apt by myself so I had to move in with my faughter and her three young kids and my daughter that was living with me and my grandson moved to North Carolina to stay with an aunt.He knew the situation I was in and should have been more professional, I didn't have another month to search for another apt and he knew that but just didn't care.

Review: I gave him $3900 to rent a property. I was contacted by the listing agent informing me that [redacted] did not give them my deposit so that I can move into their property. It has been a week of not being able to contact Mr. [redacted]. Now I have to be out of my home by September 1st with no place to go. I sent emails, text and left several messages for him to contact me to give me the keys or to return my money so that I can give the money to the landlord myself so that me and my children will not be homeless. I have no where to go and no family to help me. He completed ignored me and kept money. I bought furniture to be delivered to [redacted] and hired a moving company. Now I have to pay for my stuff to be moved to a storage area and the moving company. Today is August 31st as of tomorrow Sept. 1st I am homeless without any place to go. I do not have another $3900 to give to the owner of the property. I feel Mr. [redacted] has bad business practice and knowing allowed My two children 7 & 9 to be without a place to live. I gave my money and good faith and was disrespected in return. The owner contacted me to let me know that he has been trying to contact [redacted] for a week now and he has not returned any of his calls. I request my money back by email, text and voicemail and was completely ignored. What ever you can do to help quickly will be appreciate so that my children & I will not be placed in the streets. I really don't know what else to do. I also will be filing a police report. At this point I feel that my money was stolen. I also been in contact with his office staff and was informed that he is not answer their text or calls either. Please Help. I can be reached at any time day or night. I don't know what else I can do.

Product_Or_Service: rental propertyDesired Settlement: I will like the money to be immediately handed over to the listing agent or myself so that I will have a place for my children to lay their heads. I would also like a written apology and to be reimburse for all unnecessary money spent due to [redacted] negligence.

Review: I put down a $900 deposit for a house that I wanted. Upon doing so I was told that if I backed of the agreement that I would be charged $250. I could not get the house because the landlord wanted a tenant to move in as of April 2013 & I couldn't move in until May. Now they said that the money was transferable to another place. But every time they showed me a place is was an apartment and not what I had agreed for them to look for which was a one family house who or a duplex. I spoke directly to the owner on X-X-XXXX and he said that he would personally help me find a house and to give him one last chance to find a house or duplex. That night he sent me two more apartments for me to see on my email. So I talked to him on X-X-XXXX and said that you said it you were going to look one last time for me and yet you still sent some places that I'm not interested in, so I no longer want to do business with your company. He tells me to pick up my deposit on Monday. I get to the office on 4-8 and talked to his son [redacted] Jr. And he says he has no knowledge of the deposit return and to call his father. When I did so he told me to come back at 2. I called at 2 and [redacted] Jr. said that it still was not there. I called [redacted] once again and he apologized and said he was busy and to come back to pick up my deposit at 6pm. I called at 6 and no answer so I went to the office and they were closed. Now I have called and left messages but to no avail. I think this office is a scam. They have taken my money and do not want to give it back. Mr. [redacted] is very unprofessional along with his staff members. I just want my refund back in full. I was promised that their company would find me a house or duplex but that did not happen now that I want my deposit back due to their lack of professionalism I am being given the run around.

Ms. [redacted] came to my company for our services on 2/28/13. As specified on her profile sheet she was not looking to move until the spring season. She viewed a house that she was very interested and had put a deposit down of $900 on 3/13/13. However, being that she is a Section 8 recipient she was unable to move until May 1, 2013 due to Section 8 policies.

The landlord for that property did not accept due to the move in date being so far ahead. Ms. [redacted] had been contacted and informed of this matter. She was scheduled an appointment and had rescheduled on numerous occasions as well as the 19th, 30th and the 2nd April. I had spoken with her and emailed over listings however due to the inventory in the specific location she only wanted (Stratford and West Haven) we were limited with options and sent over what might have been suitable at that moment. Ms. [redacted] also was setup with an automatic email that consists of options in her criteria sent to her on a daily basis automatically. On 4/9 I met with Ms. [redacted]'s boyfriend and returned the deposit of $650 and stood with the retainer fee of $250 which combine equals a total of $900 and explained the $250 retainer fee that had been explained in the beginning of the process when her money was put down. The retainer fee is only applied when a client decides to cancel with the company. Which was explained to her briefly in detail and she had signed and initialed the Additional Terms Contract stating that she understood the process. I never promise or guarantee any apartment or house 100%. I would have like to continue working with Ms. [redacted] if she would have given me the opportunity to extend a search.

Earley Realty is a fraud.I feel as though they asked me to sign an agreement with them for a place of my choice and they defaulted on that agreement by trying to get me to change what I wanted to live in. They constantly sent me the wrong places in which they wanted me to look at and yes I declined because it was not my choices. their company needs to be investigated. I had heard great things about them until I went to recieve their services. I am done with going back and forth with this company. I have found a real estate company that are true to their word. I felt as though I was due the whole dollar amount that I put down as a deposit but this company can have it they are not worth the time and energy. I have spread the word and will be putting an ad in the paper about their faulty practices.
