În Regards to: *** *** purchase of a Chevrolet with ID# ***My name is Kody L*** and I am the General Sales Manager at Car Sales ExpressUnfortunately an issue brought to our attention months after purchase and being AS-IS, doesn't warrant a legitimate complaintThe
customer doesn't even know the year of the truck he purchased, or the date he purchased it onThe complaint is on a vehicle purchased on 4/5/when in all actuality, it is a that was purchased on 4/26/2017.The vehicle was not falsely advertised, seeing that the customer signed over forms, including a federal Buyers Guide, stating that the vehicle was sold AS-ISThe customer also had every opportunity to take the vehicle to a mechanic for a personal inspection before purchase, which we highly recommend doingIt clearly states on the Federal Buyers Guide (that was signed) “YOU WILL PAY ALL COST FOR ANY REPAIRSThe dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle"It also clearly states on the back of the form, a list of some of the major defects that may occurIn that list, under the Frame & Body section, it states that frame-crack, corrective welds, or rusted through dogtracks-bent or twisted frame could be defectsWe also have in-house forms that we go over while signing for the vehicleThese forms are intentionally brutally honest and explain what an purchase isAttached are all of the forms that were signed when the vehicle was purchased from usIn response to my “master mechanic saying the vehicle drove well' - This gentleman is no mechanic at all, but my lot technician who filled the vehicle up with gas and washed itIn conclusion, at what point is the purchaser responsible for a purchase they made over months ago? I am willing to take the vehicle in on the trade for another vehicle comparable in price, but finding another $4,truck, is not an easy taskPlease let me know how I can be of assistanceThanks!!Kody RL***General Sales Manager Car Sales Express 513-247-Phone *** Original copy attached
