The claims in this letter are fabricated, insulting, and are based on hear say from his employees. There was an incident report filled out at this specific location indicating the injuries that my son sustained while in the care of Building Blocks on Expedition Dr. in Fort Worth, Texas. I am being generous in agreeing to pay for the one day that my son attended and sustained injuries. I should have only been charged $32.00 plus tax. Dianna [redacted] enrolled a foster child, [redacted], on 6-8-16 who at that time she had in her care. At the time of enrollment we normally charge a $100 registration fee along with $190, which is the first week’s tuition rate. In order to expedite the enrollment and allow her to drop...

off Hank at that time, the registration fee was waived and the first week’s tuition was prorated. As a result, Ms. [redacted] paid a total of $114 at that time. At the time of the drop off of the child, Ms. [redacted] was witnessed being loud and physical with the child. It is important to note that Licensed Child Care Centers are required by law to report any situations we believe to be emotionally or physically unsafe for any child. The Director contacted the case worker at Child Protective Service (CPS) for the child at which time the witnessed events were reported. At the end of the first day of care, Ms. [redacted] arrived a few minutes before close very agitated because we had contacted CPS concerning the witnessed incident. At that time, she because verbally abusive to the staff. Subsequently, we were informed by CPS that Ms. [redacted] would no longer have the child or any foster child in her care due to other similar situations reported. Also, there were no claims filed with the CPS, regarding our care of Hank, which shows our quality of care was not the problem. Until the receipt of this complaint, Building Blocks was not aware of any request for a refund. Our published weekly rates for an enrolled child of that age are $190 a week (3-5 days) or part time is $110.00 a week (1-2 days). Ms. [redacted] paid $114 she is entitled to a $4 refund. However, in order to settle this complaint, we are prepared to drop the rate to $60 per day and issue Ms. [redacted] a refund of $54.00.
