Recall service.
I made an extra effort to be at the dealership to have my 2021 Jeep serviced as per the recall notice I received. I waited for over an hour just to have the problem fixed. I was informed that it was only by appointment that they were handling the recalls. I was given an "Appointment" for a week later. I had made extra effort to have my Jeep fixed to keep it in good running order. I must ask, "What happened to the business of "First come First served?"

Dear Ms. Marin: Ms. ***'s complaint has been forwarded to me for response as her complaint was resolved by my department when she contacted us on June 15,2017, after filing the complaint with your agency. Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze from Earnhardt... Chevrolet on May 6, 2017 with a cash down payment of $3,000. She signed a new contract on May 26, 2017 with $2,000 cash down. Inadvertently, the $1 ,000 check set for deposit on or about June 12, 2017 was not pulled and was processed, clearing her account on June 12,2017. Ms. [redacted] contacted our office on June 15, 2017. She spoke to Fred P [redacted] , one of my staff who worked with her when the new contract was signed. Mr. P [redacted] arranged for Ms. [redacted] to provide proof that the $1,000 check cleared her account. We received her bank records on June 19,2017 and issued a $1,000 check to her June 21,2017 to reimburse her for the check erroneously deposited. Earnhardt Chevrolet regrets the error and Mr. P [redacted] apologized personally to Ms. ***, and she graciously accepted it. Kindly mark this case as resolved, and please contact me if you have any additional questions or concerns. Thank you very much. Best wishes: Colleen M [redacted] Special Finance Director Earnhardt Auto Centers [EAC] [redacted]

I am a lawyer and work as general counsel for the Earnhardt dealerships, including Tex Chevrolet, Incd/b/a Earnhardt Chevrolet The letter dated September 1, has been forwarded to me for response By copy of this letter to the Revdex.com I also am responding to the
parallel concern Mr*** lodged with the Revdex.com, its no*** LThe facts are that Mr*** presented his Chevrolet Silverado with 133,miles to the service department with a check engine light concern in mid-August His last prior recorded service at the dealership was in August 2014.The electronic diagnostic codes in the engine indicated that the fuel pump was not holding pressure The dealership replaced the fuel pump and re-checked the system It was discovered that there also was a problem with the fuel pressure regulator Mr*** authorized the recommended replacement of the fuel pressure regulator None of the fuel pump service involved the air conditioning system, except for disconnecting and re-connecting certain electronic components. When he picked up his vehicle, Mr*** complained that the air conditioning was blowing warm and asserted that the air conditioning had been cool before the fuel pump serviceIt was explained to Mr*** that the fuel pump repair had not impacted the air conditioning and that the Freon likely had been leaking, as it does not vanish The dealership offered to re-charge the air conditioning system as a courtesy, but cautioned that pressure in the system likely would reveal the leak and the dealership would not be responsible for an air conditioning repair.Mr*** agreed to the terms of the attempt to re-charge the air conditioning systemThe system was pressurized. As anticipated, the leak was revealed and the line came apart. The dealership offered a reduced labor rate to replace the line, but Mr*** declined the repair. Earnhardt Chevrolet denies that its authorized and effective service on the fuel pump system is related to the disintegration of the air conditioning line

The dealership sincerely apologizes if Ms*** experienced her communication with the dealership as rude. With regard to the price for the Chevrolet Suburban 1500, however, the stated price clearly was a typographical error and Ms*** clearly was aware that the price was
substantially below the vehicle's market value. Furthermore, each webpage where a vehicle is displayed contains the following disclaimer, "We reserve the right to make corrections on omissions or typographical errors." The assertion of fraud is expressly denied. Mary LaRue W***/General Counsel

the confusion in the process for cancellation of Mr. [redacted] ' extended service contract. The process was hindered when a new finance manager who did not fully understand the Fidelity system inadvertently created a second contract as he was canceling the initial contract.   Both contracts now have been cancelled. Mr. [redacted]' lienholder, Chase, should receive payment in the full amount of the purchase price for the service contract, or $2,530.00, in mid March.
