To Whom It May Concern,This letter is a response letter to your complaint that you received on 5-5-14. The septic tank was properly installed per manufacturer. My installer is certified by [redacted] to install their unit along with all my employees. I did not provide...

the name because I did not want her contacting my foreman and aggravating him. There was a site visit with the local health department inspector, [redacted] representative and myself. All parties determined that the installation was done according to code and that her existing drain fields that the new tank was suppose to hook to was not installed properly and the new tank would not work with her existing conditions so she needs to install new drain fields. I shot all the piping with a transit level with home owner and all piping was installed at 2. Gravel bedding was not needed or required as per manufacture rep onsite and back fill material was also found to be per code. I have attached a email that the home owner sent to the manufacture stating everything was good and she needed to apply for a septic repair and she was hoping to get funding from the county to pay for her drain fields. Also if you would like to contact the local health department inspector that was on site his name is [redacted] (###-###-####). The manufacturer reponsite was [redacted] (###-###-####). Should you have any questions or require any additional information please do not hesitate to call.Sincerely,

Review: [redacted] hired a subcontractor [redacted] Brothers to properly install a septic tank in my yard. That tank was improperly installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. [redacted] Brothers is failing to provide me with the last name of the man who did the installation so that I may verify that he was certified by the manufacturer to complete the installation. Also the instructions state that there should be a gravel bed under the tank and there is not. Instructions state that the tank should not be backfilled with clay or debris and it is. The instructions state and MD law that the pipe to the inlet baffle should be a 2% grade and I do not believe that it is.Desired Settlement: I want the tank properly installed according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Review: Earnshaw brothers Inc. was contacted to perform septic pump out services at my residence. The contractor came to do the work, the contractor left after five minutes as I assume that the work was done. I then looked within the septic tank and notice that nothing was done. The contractor did not pump up the septic tank which I took a picture of incase I decide to take this to court.I sent a letter on Oct. 28, 2012 to the company telling them of my displeasure with the work and the fact that nothing was done.Desired Settlement: Stop sending me an invoice for work that was never performed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I wanted to add after reading the defendant response is that I don't have a water run off filling up my septic tank, the house is on level plain and its still new. I can produce pictures as to once your person left the residence the tank was still full. Meaning that the tank was never pump out and if this was the case. I would ask you to please contact [redacted] for additional info and reference why my 500 gallon septic tank was still fill after 5 months of your visit. Please add credible people to your pay roll.
