First of all, I appreciate the user's frustration as we certainly understand that it is troubling to have data stuck in an old incompatible system. That being said, we ourselves are also stuck in this old system which we have to pay over $10,000 per month just to maintain access to the old data....

There is no easy solution for any of us. This old technology goes the way many old computers and systems has gone before it--it will eventually be decommissioned fully as we are losing more money each month on it than we can afford. We can burn all the email files to a disk which will give you access to your files in a raw text format which will solve your legal accountability, but it isn't an elegant solution, it's just the best we can do considering the old technology. The $10 per month access is at a financial loss for us if you'd like to maintain it longer, we will keep it alive as long as we can. My apologies for the frustrations you're experiencing. Imagine our situation with 15 years of information stuck in this old format. Horrifying. Although this has been marked as resolved, earnware.com has still not supplied us with our emails. I would like to reopen this complaint. Please advise.

Review: We had an online business office with Earnware Corporation for 7 years when the telephone and email functions stopped working and they no longer were fixing or updating anything. They informed us that we should seek out another provider, gmail business account for our emails and [redacted] which we did. However, we can not retrieve our email, files, notes or telephone messages that are archived with them which is an important part of our record keeping. We are appraisers and required to keep all documents for 5 years. They have informed us that they cannot retrieve that data for us and the only solution is to pay them $10 a month to access these very important emails etc...The result is that are holding our data hostage for $120 a year. I am filing a formal complaint because of this.Desired Settlement: We want our archived emails and telephone records. We also want a refund for the monthly charges since their system stopped being functional
