We had an unfortunate experience with Earth CollisionWe had some hail damage on our car and our insurance provider told us to get a repair estimate at Earth CollisionAn employee of Earth Collision (withholding the name for privacy, but can provide if needed) who was authorized by our insurance looked at the vehicle and gave us an quote of about $3,This seemed reasonable, just small dents in the body work and a broken windshieldSo I scheduled my car to be repaired about a month in advanceSo there was definitely a lack in communication and follon my inquiries on the progress of the car, and parts not being ordered ahead of time (which is why I gave them a full month advance notice), but I chalked that up to being pretty typical of vehicle repair companiesThe reason for this review is that when we went to retrieve the car, the full amount of repairs was over $7,800! This is a total scamThis was superficial hail damageNothing was hiddenThey give you this lower estimate just to get your car in the shop, then they hit you will a billion additional chargesThey count you not caring since it is your insurance company forking over the money, but we careNo way we would have elected to have the car repaired if it was going to be nearly $8,000, which is about what the car is worthAnd we were completely left in the dark on these additional repairs when our car was in the shopOur insurance company even agrees that this price discrepancy is a red flag (even citing several instances on the bill where it would have been less expensive to just buy new panels/roof then the repairs to the existing pieces) and they are currently investigating itI will say that the actual repairs were fineBut I will never give this company my business My money and by extension, my insurances money is reserved for honest companies

We went with Earth Collision to fix our car due to all the positive reviews we saw online. I am not sure if the reviews were legitimate but I wanted to put an actual REAL review of this company about my experience there. We gave our car to Robert at Earth Collision on kellyway Drive in Carrollton on September 6th 2016. We went to other body shops along the Midway Strip but were told that they had a lot of cars with hail damage so, it will be about a month or two before they can get to our car. So, we decided to go with Earth Collision because we were told they can start right away and have us done within four days to a week for simple side bumper repair and Alignment/ suspension. We got a rent a car from Enterprise and had to pay out of pocket but would be reimbursed after the car is returned by the insurance company. A week pass and we receive no phone call regarding the progress of our car! Another week pass so we decided to call ourselves and see what was going on. We were told that the car was almost finished they were just trying to align the car and it should be finished within a few days. Another week passed and we still didn't get a phone call regarding the progress of the car so, we decided to call once again and asked for information regarding the car. This time we were told that the alignment was done they were just finishing up on the body of the car. I did not want to argue that we were already told that the body of the car was finished I just wanted the car to be done so I let it go. 3 days pass and we call to see if the car is finished we were told NO they were still trying to see about the alignment. At this point I'm feeling like I'm just getting the run-around again and every time they say it's going to be done one day it turns into a week or two. Another week passed and by this time we had spent $950 on the rental car so, we had to return it because we couldn't afford another $200 a week. This time we actually received a phone call saying that they were having trouble getting the car to align right. So we gave them a few more days to try and fix it which means we had no car to get back and forth to work so I had to quit my job. The following week we called them to see what was going on with the car because we were struggling trying to get my husband back and forth to work. They told us that they could not align the car because the two wheels in the front were different from the two wheels in the back of the car. We took our car and 5 lugnuts fell off the wheels while I was driving my 11 month old and 5 year old to get some food. That never happened the whole entire time since February when we had the wreck until we got the car to Earth Collision. I called because myself and my two small children were stranded on the highway, up to Earth Collision and no one answered the phone . I called at least 10 times. So we took it to another car shop. Earth Collision only refunded us $69 for not doing the alignment. When we got to the car to the shop Christian Brothers it took them only five minutes to pull the car up and see that we needed a new knee assembly and that was the reason why the car could not be aligned properly. So for almost a month, Earth Collision had our car and did not notice that the front knee was bent while they were trying to align a car for 3 weeks. I called Earth Collision and ask to speak to Robert and ask how was this not noticed in 4 weeks of having the car . His only explanation was well my guys never gave me a printout of what needed to be done on the car so I don't know and he would find out . Of course he never called me back explaining what happened . We end up taking the car back to see if they can fix it now knowing that his family needs to be fixed in order to do the alignment they told us we would have to wait for a supplement for the insurance which cause another week to pass * We call the insurance to see if they could pay for us another rental car and they told us that it shouldn't take a month to fix a bumper and alignment and suspension so because the body shop is not doing their part we would not get the entire amount that we paid for the rental car. We called Robert to see if the car was sentenced the following week he said it will be done by Friday then it was the following Monday for sure then Tuesday. So on Tuesday we called to see what was the hold up he got an attitude with my husband and said don't rush him. My husband said we are only going off of your word you told us it would be finished so that's why we are calling. He got mad at my husband and said well if you're going to hold me to my word then it won't be finished for another week. I was appalled of his attitude. Plus he actually sent our car to Christian Brothers to get the knee assembly done. When the car was finally finished and we got the payment to pay them Robert asked for the $69 too even no he did not align the car Christian Brothers did!
