ECF Foundation piers were purchased through a distributor in August 2005, with a 20 year warranty. We have the contract. We contacted ECP Sep 19,2016, as original local installer out of business. We received multiple emails from Brandon W at ECP assuring us someone would contact us and take care of this. After repeated promises we would be contacted, with no results, and then our emails being ignored, we were forced to have the piers fixed by a local company, at our expense. Total bill $3700.00
I have photos of the cracks in the brick of our home. I have the orignial receipt from 2005 stating the 20 year warranty. I have all of the emails between me and ECP detailing the problem, and their reply saying they would send someone out. Also the many they did not reply to. Finally, I have the receipt of the new contractor who repaired the piers.
I am sorry that Mr.’s issue has come to the point of him filing a complaint. I spoke to him multiple times both via telephone and email. In our last communication, I stated that I needed to speak to the contractor that came out and made the “repairs” to determine if it was a manufacturing defect or a problem with the installation. I was never able to get ahold of the contractor who did the repairs after repeated attempts. In an effort to keep this matter from continuing, ECP will be issuing a check to Mr. for the $3,700.00 stated in his claim. This check will be sent out tomorrow, December 20th, via certified mail.

I was very impressed that they stood by the warranty, and issue a check in full. I will be leaving positive reviews, and also be changing my negative review left previously to a positive one
