Earth Station, The

Review: 1. I had my 2002 [redacted] taken in for repairs (new engine put in to be exact) and after having my car back, told my car's drive cycle would/will not set. I was being told just to drive my car and it would click over but the monitors still are not set 2 months later. I was told that my car should be put on a special list of cars that won't pass smog. 2. After having my car back for 2 months I had made an appointment with the referee at American River College on 7/7/15 and after they inspected my car they said the smog could not be completed because of a coolant leak and low oil. Catalyst had been replaced but still no smog done.3. After leaving the referee I took my shop to the closest mechanic that was savvy about [redacted]s and found [redacted] on Mrytle Avenue. He looked at my engine and immediately checked the pressure in the reserve tank and oil. When he checked the oil, the dipstick was clean, no residue of any oil being put in. Also, he noticed that the coolant hose had broke off and the reason was because Earth Station put all the old hoses and wires on from the old engine. The hose that they put on the coolant system was too short and they used and extension to seal it and the extension is what broke off and caused my leak. Earth Station used a short cut. Because there was no oil in the car, I do not know how my car sustained for as long as it did. I have taken pictures of the hose used and the broken extension piece and I have witnesses that can verify the shortcut taken. Also, I wanted to be sure no oil was put in and on my receipt of payment for the engine, all other fluids are mentioned but not the oil or oil change. My new engine could have seized up and caused damage to my car or myself. I in fact called Earth Station before I took my car to the other mechanic and they stated that they could not get to my car that day and also my warranty for the new engine was not going to cover this new issue and they had no tow service available.Desired Settlement: Because I was not given the option to have new hoses and wiring put on my car I feel that I am entitled to a refund for the new repair costs and the loss of hours from my job that day. I had full trust in Earth Station and had no idea my car hoses and wires were put back on from a 13 year old engine. Also, isn't oil a main component when replacing an engine? I'm lucky my car did not seize up and cause damage. I trusted them to put me back on the road with no worries and that did not happen.
