Initial Business Response /* (1000, 21, 2016/04/14) */
First coated sunroom. Sunroom was not leaking when the job was completed. Water was running from the shingles further up from sunroom all the way to the ridge. We sealed every shingle joint from flat area of roof to the ridge. We repaired this...

free of charge. We went back to his residence at least 6 times, maybe more and we never charged for this. The leaks that occurred were not from the original job I was asked to rubber coat. I have been business since 1994 and have never had complaints except for this one. I feel I have done everything that needed to be done regarding the coating of the sunroom.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 23, 2016/04/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My sunroom was never leaking!! This contractor replaced a roof that did not need to be replaced. The contractor was incompetent or running a scam. Continually assured me I could trust him because he was a christian. I subsequently had several competent professional roofing contractors look at my contractors work and they all said that the product was the wrong product for the job and that the installation was not done correctly. The leak was on my sloped roof and not only did my contractor not fix my leak but he caused further damage to the roofing substructure by allowing the leak from the sloped roof to continue to run under the new rubber roof he put on my sunroom. The rubber roof had to be completely torn off and thrown away in order for a new roofer to replace my sloped roof and replace the sunroom roof, tied in to the sloped roof in the correct manner. I have pictures of all of the damage my contractor caused and the incompetent application in the manner he installed the rubber roof. If he does not meet my demand, my intention is to file a small claims action and I have a professional roofing contractor who will testify at the trial with pictures that indicate that the roofer did a substandard job on my sunroom. I am out almost $ 2,000 and my contractor said he would give me $ 200 back and that is all he was going to do. I believe him offering to give me $200 back is a clear indication that he did a substandard job in the first place. I want to make sure anyone thinking of using him will read my statement here and may call me at any time.

RE: Case #XXXXXX
In regards to complaint filed by [redacted].
I am responding to the dispute filed by the above named in regards to a
roofing job that was done by my company.
I was called to bid a roof section of Mr. [redacted]'s flat roof another
Contractor had been out and bid the same flat roof Mr. [redacted] contacted
me that He would like me to coat and seal his flat roof
After the job was complete I was contacted at least 8 times that there were
leaks on the roof At no charge I went out each time and located and in some
cases repaired leaks that were coming from different shingled parts of the
roof An area in which I did not work, nor did I even bid to repair. I
repeatedly in good faith and customer relations tried to explain the main
area and problem was around the chimney on the shingled section of the
roof This was to no avail as Mr. [redacted] was seeing from one perspective
and that was the flat section that my company did.
We cannot be held accountable for leaks on a roof we do not even do. (FourSeasons
specializes and does flat roof rubber coating NOT shingles) To help
ease his issue, in good customer service I gave him $200.00 towards his
leaking shingles. He has since misconstrued that to be a pay off in which it is
not and is now hying to slander my character and my name that has many
decades of being reputable, honest and fair. I believe this issue should be
considered in its entirety and based upon both sides it is clear, FourSeasons
had nothing to do with the shingles leaking on his roof The coated
part Four-Seasons did, was not a issue and it did not leak removing it was
His decision that was not necessary.

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 36, 2016/06/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response from the vendor is false in his statements. I did not hire him to fix my flat roof. I hired him to find the leak and fix the leak. He decided the leak was the flat roof and did his work on that. He was proven to be wrong in his diagnosis as the leak was on the sloped part of my roof which he did not repair. He sold me a flat roof I did not need and I and the Revdex.com from their investigation have spoken with another roofer who completed the job that [redacted] did not repair and had to repair the additional damage [redacted] caused. Evidence by way of pictures and statements from my other roofer show that Mr. [redacted] lied that he is approved to use the product he used on my roof. I spoke with the manufacturer of the product and they told me that the product is not made to be used on shingles yet Mr [redacted] used it on my shingles. I do not accept the lies Mr. [redacted] has said about how the job was done and am extremely angry that he tried to get me to accept the roof as it was because his wife was sick and he had to take care of her. He professed to be a Christian and used his quoting of scripture whenever I questioned him about his lack of integrity to take care of the problem he caused and the leak that he never repaired. If he does not make an offer to me that is reasonable to settle this situation I am prepared with my other roofer to take Mr. [redacted] to small claims court and to make sure that my experience is on the Revdex.com website for all to see that consider him for working on their roofs. He lied to me, took my money, never fixed the leak and put a flat roof on that I did not need and which caused even more damage, evidenced by photographs, to my inside ceiling by using a product not designed to be used on shingles, per the manufacturer of the product. Also lied about being certified to use the product when per the manufacture he is not. I want to make sure no other homeowner falls prey to this man.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal...

/* (3000, 25, 2016/03/23) */
Revdex.com Comment - The consumer came ** the Revdex.com office and stated the following: Four Seasons Roofing has been ** his house 3 different times and still has a leak. The consumer called an additional 2 different times ** schedule an appointment for the repairs ** be made. Both times the company was a no show. The consumer has had another company come in and make the proper repairs for $450.00 compared ** what he was charged from Four Seasons of $1595.95. The leak is now fixed by the other company. The consumer wants a full refund of $1595.95. If the consumer does not receive a refund from Four Seasons Roofing he is willing ** go ** arbitration.
