The customer wrote a bad check. I picked up the check when I provided the service. The check was no good. I was charged $from the bank, $for my work and charged another full $for my service to have to come pick up the new, good check. They paid me $and I don’t owe
them anything because I did the work

I am rejecting this response because: yes the check was returned; yes he notified us of the $30 return check fee. NO he didn't notify us of a service charge to pick up the check. He stated that we could write another check for $60 and add another $30 for cutting the lawn on the day he was picking up the check. We were led to believe that he would be cutting our lawn again. NEVER ONCE did he mention he was just picking up a check! If cutting the grass was not his original intent, then why let us write another check and not just pick up cash. He then informed us that he was doing us a favor by cutting our lawn, we now had to pay cash, (even though the check for $90 cleared as did all the previous checks) and then proceeds to insult us by saying "my wife would have written the check from the correct account!" He's a liar and very unprofessional.
