Easley's Fun Shop has and has had for many years a no return policy for our customers protection.  Many stores do refunds and exchanges and then resell the used items as new.  I am not sure who she talked to but yes it is our policy not to do refunds or exchanges......we also never promise...

that something will fit someone who isn't here.....children as well as adults can not be fitted by knowing their age.  It was recently brought to my attention that a lady bought an astronaut for her son and it didn't fit so she did come back in with him and we did exchange it.  I understand that parents are under pressure to produce a costume for their children for book reports, wax museums, and many other school projects.  I always work with parents that are nice to me, and my staff.  If a customer treats us right, we will do everything possible to always right a wrong.....always, and I have thrown many costumes away that were returned because no matter what, the next person will NOT buy something used or soiled from Easley's.  If a customer does not act appropriately then I will pass up the sale.  I look forward to hearing from this woman personally......[redacted] Easley

I got married March 22,2014 and had to have my whole family run and rent or buy Renaissance Costumes at Easleys. We have dealt with them before. They not only helped every single one of my family, all 8 of them, plus other people who needed costumes for the event and regular costumers, they stepped up to the plate in more ways then one. My family raved and raved about the service they got from the President of the company,[redacted] who was there plus [redacted] and also a bald headed dude who helped me a month ago. They really made the event so special by fitting everyone including my mom who was in a Wheel Chair. Hazarrrrr to you guys, keep up the great work. Costumes were great and fit wonderful and the family looked fantastic!!!!

Unfortunate that the owner has lost a $2,000 a year customer because of her short sighted awful customer service. Her daughter is unbelievably rude and the dysfunctionality of the family ownership and employees is unparalleled in Phoenix. Stay online and use

[redacted] and specifically one of her daughters who has about a half inch blonde hair crew cut were rude and acted like bullies. I walked in returning 2 rental costumes. When they asked how it worked out I told them parts of it came broken. [redacted] immediately got defensive and told me they didn't and that I signed a contract. She was very abrasive and started telling me how rude I was 2 days earlier when I came into the store. At one point as a waited to get an answer of what was missing she said, "everyone is gone- they must be scared of you." It was literally the worst experience I've ever had. I have never (I'm 42 years old) filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. Finally, the daughter came out. When she tried to get me to pay for both the costume (more than $400) she also wanted to charge me the rental fee. When I asked to speak to the mom again ([redacted]), the daughter tried to be intimmidating and said her mom would make me pay it too. I had to ask for the mom several times. The mom at least had the sense to tell her that was illegal and she couldn't do that. But the way these people treated me was literally verbally abusive. I just hope they have the video of both the day I shopped (which they claimed I was so rude) as they had emplyees shooting toy nurf guns from up high behind the walls, as well as video & audio of how they treated me as I was trying to return the costumes. It was literally the worst shopping experience I've ever had and I'm appalled they could treat anyone like that.

Review: I had heard about Easley's for many years but had never visited or shopped there before. I had a need to buy/rent a costume for today and went down there to try them out. I found the item, told them that my son was 9 years old and needed an Astronaut costume. The sales lady took me back and handed me a childs Astronaut outfit. I asked her if this would fit an average height 9 year old and she said yes. I took it home and when my son put the costume up to him, it was obviously way too short. I looked at the tag and it said size 4-6. NO WAY THIS WOULD HAVE EVER FIT HIM. I called to see if they could just exchange it for the correct size and the girl who answered the phone said NO, we don't allow exchanges. I tried to explain that it was their recommendation that led to this but she just repeated the denial. Unless they are willing to exchange this costume for the correct size, I will no longer shop there.Desired Settlement: Simply exchange the incorrectly recommended costume for the correct size one for a 9 year old boy.
