Review: On October **, 2**3 I purchase an item from East Coast Auctions through their auction which was hosted by Liveauctioneers. East Coast Auctions charged me $64 to ship the item, the actual cost to ship was $22.95. A significant part of the item I won was not shipped to me. I made numerous contacts to East Coast Auction and spoke with Mackenzie Lennon on at least ten occasions. She made it very clear that the item, a mirror stand for the lamp, please see the link for the actual item I purchased, [redacted], was in the box when shipped, and she stated she knew this for fact because she packaged it. This turns out to not be a truthful statement according to the last email she sent me. For six months I tried to amicably resolve this issue with her. She promised a refund. After several weeks had passed and I had not received a refund, I again contacted her and she said the check for $300 was on her desk and she would mail it the following morning. Another week or so passes with no check arriving. I again contacted her and she stated she would refund me by PayPal, and asked for my PayPal address. It was given to her and she still did not send a refund. I have spent an inordinate amount of time pursuing a remedy to this problem. It has come to my attention that others, according to comments posted in the Guest Book section of their website, have had similar problems with this Auction House. Something needs to be done to protect Consumers from these people.Desired Settlement: A refund as promised months ago.
