I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowmy complaint is not about changing the speedo odometer it isthe owner Chris told me that the machine I bought had miles on it and had all the updates done well I get it home and I notice it has miles on it .I call him he said HE CHANGED it for an UPDATES so I took the machine to Polaris because the transmission is grinding and they tell me they plugged it in to the computer and it has miles on it and has never had any updates done and they don't change speed odometers for updates also the rear axles are clicking and the 4wheel drive u joints are bad front differential is leaking I have only put miles on it and all this was there before thatthe reason I wont go to moto world is because my friend went there complaining about his brakes and got throw out and one of the employees tried to hit him with a fire extinguisher so now I don't feel safe even going there .so what I would like is to have the Polaris dealer fix the transmission and axles at moto worlds cost or I can let dmv know about the mileage scam your choice...thamks ***

I'm sorry he stated he was a Polaris dealer. And the machine was new with a 6 month warranty. Upon several other lies he has told me. I will take this matter up with the dept. Of motor vehicles for investigation. Thank You.

There are 17 digits in a VIN number for a vehicle and the 8th digit was listed as an "8" on the paperwork we received from our distributor and it should have been an "A". I have contacted my distributor as soon as I learned about the issue and paperwork was mailed out too me on 8-10-2015 and I have...

already contacted the customer to let them know on 8-10-2015 that We would be sending revised documents for the ATV to correct the VIN mistake that was NOT our fault. We have taken all nessessary steps too correct the paperwork issue. As for the vehicle it was a used machine with 11 miles. It was listed with having miles and the customer not only was here in person, he also test drove the machine and inspected the machine personally. 11 miles is extremely low miles for anything, and the customer may have considered it new as it looked literally brand new in every way but still had 11 miles on the model. He is requesting that I give him a 5 year warranty which is something I cannot do for FREE. We have taken every step to resolve the issues.  Chris

The vehicle the customer is referring to is out of warranty. I cannot just give him free parts and service, If he would like to bring the vehicle in we would be more than happy to address the customers concerns and see what we can do too help him at a reduced cost. Utility vehicles are OHV vehicles and do not require a NY MV 50 or any other regarded paper work to record miles, if the customer wants to contact the DMV he can absolutely do so and will find the same information. We stock Polaris parts and work on them daily. My offer to this customer is too take a look at his machine and give him a reduced cost to fix his issues. He claims he has put 300 miles on the unit and he has had this machine for several months, this is what we can offer him

This customer actually purchases this machine while it was still in service. He was told that we will sell the machine once it has gone through our service department. We were going to do a full service and replace any broken or possible defective parts. Which any person would obviously want...

something given to them in perfect shape. This customer is complaining because we put a brand new Polaris OEM Meter. So I am having a hard time understanding that the customer is complaining because we put a BRAND NEW item to replace a possible defective one? In  this case we will take and ask the customer to bring in his machine and we will replace the new item with the old and he will void the warranty of the new item and if he should have an issue that it would be financially his responsibility to replace any defective parts that would be affected by his choice of foolishly going backwards essentially.
