I am rejecting this response because Mr. C[redacted] has yet to submit an itemized bill as to how the pricing of the cleaning of the garments were calculated.  I am also very curious as to what steps as a business owner Mr. C[redacted] took to check with the home insurance company before taking on a large claim to verify payment reimbursement before the job was even started.  Now that this claim is considered a self pay out of pocket expense, why was I not directly notified by Mr. C[redacted] via phone call, via mail, about my personal belongings where I also reside in Irvington,NJ also leaving voicemails to East coast garments with my mobile number.  This is very unprofessional.  Granted the claim has changed to self pay but how will I be able to pay for my belongings when I have nothing to go by from the garment company?

I am writing in response to a complaint filed against our business, ID [redacted].On July 12th we were contracted by Mr. [redacted], the homeowner, to remove and clean all damaged garments in the home. There was a fire/smoke incident that needed to be remediated.I have included a copy of the signed...

contract. Subsequently, and after all of his items were cleaned, he was notified by his insurance company that he does not have person property coverage under his homeowners policy.As per our contract Mr. [redacted] is responsible for payment of any work not covered by his insurance company and the order was placed on COD (cash/check on deliver). Mr. [redacted] stated that he will not be paying the invoice.I have had several conversations with the home owner and I have proposed a reduction in the invoice.understand that Ms. [redacted] is upset that her clothing has been held at our facility. But, as explained to her, we had the authorization of her father to remove all items. We did, deliver their emergency clothing back within a few days and have still not been compensated for that work.have been contacted by their attorney and have expressed the same sentiment to him.
