On 12/4/17, my wife and I signed a contract to have our residential driveway repavedThe owners wife, Becky, assured us that for $2,our driveway would be repaved to a level of inches and that the contract included two years free of their special seal coatingTo date, East Coast has not come back to do the seal coating and the drive way is starting to crumble.I have personally called Becky at least three times and have received nothing but excusesMy three neighbors also have experienced the same lack of serviceWe live in the *** Community Association in Bristow, Va., an over adult community, and feel that this company has prayed on older citizens like our selves

Review: On 23 September 2014, [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating mislead/took advange of an elderly widow located at 6[redacted] Mr. [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating verbally said he would pave my driveway with asphalt for a little over $1.00 a square foot. Further, Mr. [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating verbally said he had just finished another job in the area and had left over material. He charged $2200.00 and was provided a check in that amount of which Mr. [redacted] cashed on 24 September 2014. Complaint is as follows: Mr. [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating used asphalt millings - not asphalt as stated. Asphalt millings average $14.00 per ton. Mr. [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating did not properly prepare base surface as after 2 months, grass and weeds are growing through the driveway. Mr. [redacted] of East Coast Paving and Seal Coating over charged for the work actually performed. It is estimated that the material used cost $300.00 - it is estimated that the service with this material, prepared as a driveway (not recomended) cost $600 - total cost for work performed is estimated at $900 ($1300 below what was charged).Desired Settlement: request refund in the amount of $1300.00
