We here at Travel Resorts of America contacted the
individual referenced in this letter via phone for additional details regarding
her experienceWe were able to speak to her regarding her comments and assured
her that her prizes were being sent directly to herWe mailed the prizes prior
to
writing this response and continue to remain in contact with the individual
to ensure they do receive them in a timely mannerAt the close of our most
recent conversation, she expressed gratitude and stated that she was looking

In the response to the complaint from Mr. and Mrs. [redacted], I am a little confused by their complaint. They clearly state that at the time they purchased the membership they were aware it was a one lifetime membership which could not be sold, transferred or gifted to another...

party. Not only do we make sure our new members are fully aware of the term of their membership at the time of purchase, but they are also made aware they can add transferability in the future. Since Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] joined in 2005, we met with them in our Member Service office where they were offered the opportunity to add transferability. They declined. After being in business for 28 years, we do understand that people's lives change. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] have relocated to Florida and no longer use the Resort of Distinction travel system. However, our Resort is open, and the Resorts of Distinction Resorts are open, and we are here ready to host any and all Members. Their Membership is not a perpetual membership. They do have the option after being a member for 20 years to opt out. They have been a member for 10 years this coming September. However, we would be willing to make an exception and allow the [redacted]'s to opt out early providing they pay their past due bill in the amount of $715.98. If they would like to discuss this further they can contact us directly.

We at TRA are sorry that Mr. [redacted] has been unable to utilize his resort membership. We have decided to terminate his contract when he signs the attached mutual release.
