In the response to the complaint from Mrand Mrs [redacted] ***, I am a little confused by their complaintThey clearly state that at the time they purchased the membership they were aware it was a one lifetime membership which could not be sold, transferred or gifted to another partyNot only do we make sure our new members are fully aware of the term of their membership at the time of purchase, but they are also made aware they can add transferability in the futureSince Mrand Mrs [redacted] joined in 2005, we met with them in our Member Service office where they were offered the opportunity to add transferabilityThey declinedAfter being in business for years, we do understand that people's lives changeMrand Mrs [redacted] have relocated to Florida and no longer use the Resort of Distinction travel systemHowever, our Resort is open, and the Resorts of Distinction Resorts are open, and we are here ready to host any and all MembersTheir Membership is not a perpetual membershipThey do have the option after being a member for years to opt outThey have been a member for years this coming SeptemberHowever, we would be willing to make an exception and allow the ***'s to opt out early providing they pay their past due bill in the amount of $If they would like to discuss this further they can contact us directly
