Do NOT shop here!! I bought a fridge and when my husband brought it to my place of work it wreaked of cigarettes! They stated a 90day warranty which they will not honor. They also won't let me return or exchange for another product. They stated that ALL of their refrigerators smell like cigarettes. I should have known is was a mistake when they only accept cash!! They are crooked! Do not shop here!! Disgusting!!

Review: I purchased a used refrigerator from [redacted] of East End Appliance in Terryville. He gave a good business image and spoke a good sales pitch. He asked for cash stating it would be an additional $15 to use check or credit card. I opted to use a card. The first refrigerator didn't work. It would not get cold enough in either the fridge or freezer. I attempted to contact [redacted] immediately. After several calls and texts, [redacted] responded and came out to repair taking the plate off the back of the fridge. There were 3 unsuccessful attempts to repair the refrigerator. Each time I had to contact [redacted] notifying him it wasn't working, it took weeks to a month for a response. I requested a full refund. [redacted] asked that I allow him to try another refrigerator in it's place. That refrigerator had electrical problems and I woke to it off and all of my food spoiled. The electrical issue with the refrigerator caused the circuit breaker to trip. After several attempts at contact again, he responded he would send his repair guys out. I asked for my money back. He sent his workers out to identify the problem which they found was electrical. They explained to him the fridge was not repairable. He insisted the replace the inside electrical component. They tried to unsuccessfully. They gave me a partial refund stating they would be back within a cpl days to refund the rest and take the broken refrigerator away. They stated [redacted]'s truck was broken. I had heard that many times in previous repair/ replace calls. They never returned. I contacted [redacted] numerous times. He didn't respond.I lost $340 in food. I was not given a full refund and had to pay a company to remove the broken fridge. I wonder how he is reporting the money he "earned" from me. I am not able to find an EIN for this company yet he is doing business as well advertising on sites such as craigslist.comDesired Settlement: I would like the rest of the monies owed to me paid as well as the cost of the spoiled food given that I had notified [redacted] enough times of the issues. I would like to find his employer identification number given that he has not returned my monies and has to figure a way to report this income. I have the receipts saved.

Review: I recently had my dryer fixed by this business and from start to finish it was a nightmare! They told my husband they would call the day they were to come and just showed up at the door... When I asked why they did not call he stated that that was never the arrangement. They took the dryer and said they would call when it was ready. They stated that they were anticipating the next day if they couldn't do it same day. We were fine with that. They then told my husband that no matter what the problem was they would fix it for $125 dollars. So we let them take it and waited. We never received a call in the afternoon so we assumed it was not ready, then later on while we were out running an errand we got a call at 630 pm telling us that it was ready and they were at our door waiting for us. I was very irritated as we had no warning and had not recieved a phone call before they just decided to come on out. My husband then told him we would be home in about 15-20 minutes. We got a phone call 10 minutes later from our Neighbor (we live in a condo complex) and he told us that they left our dryer on our front porch.... UNATTENDED. Anyone could have come taken it. So my husband and neighbor brought it upstairs into our condo and we waited. When the owner arrived 15 minutes later he charged my husband $135 dollars since he stated they had to replace the drum... He had previously said that no matter what was wrong he would only charge 125$ but it was fixed and we just wanted to be done with it so we paid the 135$. He told my husband that we had a 3-month warranty and when it just recently broke this week ( not 3 weeks later) we called to have them fix it again since it was covered under the warranty. They then promised 3 times to come and never showed. My husband and I are beyond aggravated and just want our money back and also to warn potential consumers not to use this business! It is beyond a SCAM!Desired Settlement: We paid 135$ for the dryer to be fixed... We would have originally just wanted the dryer fixed and now we are seeking a refund so that we can have a reputable company fix it.
