I don’t ever write reviews but was compelled in this particular case New to VA, I was not sure of who had good reviews as PediatriciansI had seen the commercial for East End Pediatrics & she “looked” pretty nice & friendly and my son had been sick with pneumonia recently & had a fever of for a day or two but no other symptoms so I took him thereI did not wait too long in the waiting room (maybe minutes) and the front office staff were OK until I got to the exam roomWe waited in there, I kid you not for an hour & minutesThe doctor finally came in, and said, “Them older kids be getting on nerves sometimes.” Waiting so long to see her had already given me a bad taste in my mouth, and that comment did not helpShe then came in & she asked me why was I there in a nasty way as if she was NOT a doctor and this was NOT a doctor’s officeShe was very condescending with me & just so rudeShe told me my son’s fever of and previous bout with walking pneumonia a couple of months before was no big deal and kids reach fevers of over & they are fineShe told me in a roundabout way that it was silly for me to bring him in for that & could wait for his fever to get as high as 105+ to do anythingShe also has TERRIBLE bed side mannerMy son who was years old laid down and she asked him to raise his arms so she could press on his stomach & he laughed and moved when she pressed & she scolded him for that as if he is not a child, who may or may not be ticklishI was just not impressed with her AT ALLI would not recommend her to anyone, honestlyI would not want anyone else to be subjected to that type of treatment from a children’s physician at thatWhether you have Medicaid or not, there are a lot better doctors & providers out there!!

I did not wait too long in the waiting room (maybe 20 minutes) and the front office staff were OK until I got to the exam room. We waited in there, I kid you not for an hour & 45 minutes. The doctor finally came in, and said, “Them older kids be getting on nerves sometimes.” Waiting so long to see her had already given me a bad taste in my mouth, and that comment did not help. She then came in & she asked me why was I there in a nasty way as if she was NOT a doctor and this was NOT a doctor’s office. She was very condescending with me & just so rude.
