A new management team was taking over in January and as soon as we knew this we contacted [redacted]. We were very apologetic and sincerely sorry for the inconvenience this caused. We apologized...

profusely. We immediately asked her what can we do to try to make the situation as least inconvenient as possible. [redacted] asked if the new management will honor the date and I told her I would confirm with them if that is what she wanted. I told her they probably would but I wanted to confirm as well I wanted her to know I would return her deposit of $60 immediately if that is what she preferred. I also told her of other places in the same area that have nice places in the event that she no longer wanted to have the event here. I gave her the name and number of a few places for her space rental. I apologized to her again (as I knew this was 24 days out from her event date) and told her I would get right back to her. She thanked me for the information. I called her to tell her the new manager would honor her space rental and she responded by text: "[redacted]". I responded to her text " Hi Rachel, I'm truly sorry about this and for the inconvenience. I understand if that is what you need to do. When we were talking you mentioned you wanted me to talk to the new management. Do you still want me to do that or should I not? Shall I just refund you the total? Again, my apologies for the inconvenience. Please let me know how you want me to proceed." To which she replied: "[redacted]". When I called her to inform her that the new management said Yes, she said at this point she doesn't trust me and she does not want to move forward. This I totally understood and again was sorry for the inconvenience. I immediately refunded her deposit. The desired settlement from [redacted] was to have the new management to honor the event to which they were. I have a copy of the text communication to confirm our discussion. We strive to please all of our customers and we were sincerely sorry for the inconvenience. We were able to provide her the desired result she requested in her complaint, however, she changed her mind.
