I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
This response is entirely indicative of the sort of business practice considered acceptable at East Hills Subaru They make a mistake, offer a mediocre savings which doesn't actually resolve any problem since I am left with either a car I did not order or no car at all, and weeks of my time have been wasted I am truly shocked this dealership chooses to run a business with these sorts of ethics, and I can only hope others in the future think twice before coming here, especially since there are several other Subaru dealerships within a very close distance of this one To reiterate, the issue here isn't the mistake that the dealership made, it's the lack of remediation for their acknowledged mistake They told us two weeks, we showed up at two weeks, we kept our end of the bargain They did not, and they attempted to pull one over us by telling us some lies about how certain models come with certain colors Any indication of remorse or any respect for us as paying customers was completely non existent This is deceitful practice, and I can say nothing more than shame on this dealershipThey did not resolve their mistake and my complaint whatsoever, as you can see from their responseTheir own words speak for themselves

Thank you for giving East Hills Subaru the opportunity to answer this consumer complaint We sold *** *** an incoming Subaru Forester on 7/**/ It was not a factory order as that would have taken weeks or so It was an incoming unit that was due to arrive at our store
within a few weeks At the time of sale, we performed an area search for this vehicle and no other dealer had a Forester with Touring option and exterior color sought We made a mistake in not verifying the interior color *** *** refused to accept the vehicle as the interior was brown, not black as needed We offered *** *** a $incentive to compensate for our mistake This incentive was not acceptable to *** *** There exists no other vehicle in the area at any other dealership that fits *** ***'s needs.East Hills Subaru is willing to order *** *** a Subaru Forester Touring with the exterior and interior color sought It will take approximately weeks for this vehicle to arrive East Hills Subaru is not willing to lower the price of this vehicle nor are we willing to give *** *** a loaner vehicle during this period. proceeds of a cancelled warranty to the lending institution to apply against the outstanding balance This summer, *** *** contacted us, spoke to Phil M***, Sales Manager, and told us he had paid off the financial institution's loan We asked *** *** to provide to us a DMV Form MV-(Notice of Recorded Lien) that evidenced there was no lien on *** ***' vehicle To date, *** *** has not provided this form to us Had we received this form, we would have sent the check to *** ***.On Monday, September **, 2016, we mailed the check to *** ***' financial institution to offset the lien Should the check be returned by the bank with evidence the lien is satisfied, we will gladly send this check to *** *** We value his business and we want to do whatever we can to assist him while protecting the bank's interest.Sincerely, Phil W***Chief Marketing OfficerEast Hills Subaru

package during the sales process.  Nothing was hidden or concealed from her at all.  We could have performed better at cancelling her warranty and tire and wheel insurance packages.  She met with David Ja[redacted], general manager, yesterday and he had a reimbursement check prepared for her.  The check was signed today.  The customer is on her way to our dealership as we speak to pick up this check.  On behalf of East Hills Subaru, we apologize for any miscommunication that occurred.  We certainly did not intend to prolong this reimbursement. Sincerely, Phil W[redacted]Chief Marketing OfficerEast Hills Subaru

card that was used for the transaction.  To date, this has not been provided to us.  As soon as this information is provided we will process the refund immediately.  The customer or her friend should call Phil Mazen, Sales Manager, at ###-###-#### and provide this information in order to move forward. Sincerely, Phil W[redacted]

This is the worst car dealer I have ever dealt with. Lieing, cheating rip off. Never even consider buying a car from them.
