My husband and I researched our dental coverage and found that crowns are covered at no cost under our policy. When I confronted the dentist, he said that the crown he was offering for $650 was much better quality (although he never disclosed that I had a free option). After additional research, I determined the dentist's claim to be false. I opted for the crown that would be free.
