Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have emails that clearly shows that [redacted] ***- [redacted] gave me different deadlines each and every month. [redacted] ***- [redacted] used to come into my place of business each and every month as well and hand deliver the Parent Papers to me.That was until March 4th when I complained about another child care center in town that was given free Ad space on the Parent Paper online. I had never been given anything free from this company and I have been advertising for over two years. As soon as I complained I was treated with the greatest disrespect. As a matter of fact I did in fact send over and ad in April for March Paper. [redacted] did not recieve it and admitted her Email was not working correctly. Therefore they were going to allow me to run an ad out of my contract but they were going to charge me. That does not make sense to me. I also have staff and Parents that will in fact verify my due dates were different each and every month as I did photo shoots with a different family or groups of children each and every month for the Parent Paper Ads. [redacted] ***- [redacted] was an amazing sales person and she was very kind and personable... until she contracted another child care center to do an Ad and gave them free advertising. As soon as I complained it took days for a return email and from that day of my complaint [redacted] no longer stopped by my place of Business to check on Ad's and business of that nature. As a matter of Fact, the month of March when she was to drop off the Parent Paper she actually put them on the sidewalk outside my place of business versus bringing them in. That was an all time first ever.March 31st I received an email from [redacted] informing that she did not get an ad and that her email was not working right... I told her I had sent it.But assumed then I would not get an ad out of contract... but that was their issues and not mine!!!On April the 1st I received an email from [redacted] asking me if I would like to re contract. I sent her an email back on April the 3rd asking if our correspondence would be only through email and various other questions. I never received any response back from [redacted] or the East Oregonian since April 1st. I sent several emails to [redacted] and I was also told by a former EO employ that [redacted] did in fact receive those emails. The due dates in fact were different each and every month to submit my AD. And if [redacted] was busy she would extend my due dates. And due to the fact Kate's email was not working and she was not interested in picking up the phone to contact me. I find it all very strange. As a matter of fact I was going to let this all go but when I received a bill from the EO for April, if figured it was an oversight. I did not think anything of it. Until I received another bill with a late fee on it. So I sent a copy of my bill back to the EO with a letter stating that I did not owe the bill due to the fact my contract had ended. But I then received another bill with an additional late fee on it, then I received a collections call from the EO asking me as to why I was not paying my bill. That is not okay.1. I received the best customer service from [redacted] ***- [redacted] until I made a complain to her. 2. Received little to no customer service from [redacted] as soon as I made a complaint on March 2nd about the other child care receiving free ad space.3. My Ad was not received as admitted by [redacted] ***- [redacted] because her email was not working which was not the first time her email at the EO was a problem.4. I had to pay for a service but did not receive the full service I paid for.5. I continued to try to contact [redacted] but did not receive any response what so ever.Basically it seems to me that if a customer complains they are then treated poorly and then they are replaced by other advertisers then hounded to pay additional monies that are not actually owed.In closing the fact they did not run an ad in March is in my opinion ridiculous since they in fact had a business card ad they have on file. They could have used that with ease. I also find it ridiculous that I was going to be charge for a month out of contract when in fact I should have gotten it for free since they did not run an ad.If you would like me to send the email correspondence I will certainly do that for you.Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] has had an annual advertising contract with the East Oregonian since 9/1/2012 to advertise in our monthly Eastern Oregon Parent publication. Our most recent annual advertising space contract with [redacted] was signed effective April 1, 2014 - March 31, 2015 for placing...

ads in our print publication, Eastern Oregon Parent, during that time frame. As this is a monthly publication, our deadlines do not fluctuate month to month. A [redacted] ad was placed in each publication between April 2015 and February 2015 as ad copy was received. For the March 2015 issue, an ad was ordered per contract, but our rep was unable to get ad copy from the customer, so the ad did not actually run.  To fulfill the contract, a [redacted] ad ran in the April 2015 issue, which fell outside of the contract period. When our accounting office called to talk to the customer about the bill we showed owing, she let us know it was in error. We researched and discovered we had charged for space in March, but published the ad in April. We reversed the charges. The customer has a zero balance and no other adjustments are due to this customer.
