Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
I've never had a contractor charge me for travel time, nor is it on the company's website, travel time is not listed a charge on my invoice, and nor was not told the company charges for travelI the assertion that I'm being charged an hour of travel is a lie to justify the overcharge. Also, if you google travel time from Grand Isle to Huntington it is minutes, not hr. If the company only installed the watersoftener as a favor to a friend, but does not service them I should have been told this when I called and requested service to my watersoftener that the company installed. I also want to add that on the Revdex.com's website, it states that East Shore Mechanical is NOT accredited by the Revdex.comHowever, the company has a Revdex.com Accredited Business seal on the home page of their website: ***/ I'd like to know if this business is or isn't accredited by the Revdex.com and if it is not, they should be made to remove that seal - correct? I've already filed a complaint on this issue to the Vermont Attorney General's consumer complaint division, reported that the watersoftener was installed by East Shore Mechanical without providing service to to the product to the makers of the watersoftener (WaterSoft), and ** *** who sells these watersofteners in and around north-central Vermont and Clinton County, NY.I refuse to pay the company an hour for travel time and I will not pay for services I did not incur, which is my watersoftener was NOT serviced nor fixed. Regards,

voicemail about the attached bill.  I was charged for 2.5 hrs of service; [redacted] was at my home for a maximum time of 1.5 hrs; arrived at 10:25am and left around 12 noon = ~1.5 hrs.  I had surveyor at my house the same day, and he arrived around 11am and left a little after 1pm; [redacted] left my house a good hour before the surveyor did - [redacted] left around noon. It is an hour one way from our shop to your house. We have to pay our employees both ways. We charged you one way as we charge all of our customers. I doubt you will find a service company anywhere that does not charge their customers for travel. If we charged no travel time we would have paid our employee for 3.5 hours, approximately 7 gallons of gas (88 miles round trip), plus wear on our vehicle. If we only charged 1.5 hours we would lose money to service your equipment. I understand your company has a 2 hr minimum charge - which I was not aware of until I received this bill.  I'm happy to pay the $180 minimum charge, but I will not pay for the extra .5 hrs as I did not incur that time/service. I was told that you did not ask our rates when you called. They are the same rates we charge every customer. This is not specific to you. In addition, when I called the schedule the appointment I stated I was having issues with the watersofterner and needed that serviced. When [redacted] arrived, he said the former owner of my house had pressured him/your company into installing the watersofterner and that he knew nothing about watersoftners so I'd have to contact another company to have that serviced.  I wish that I had been told that your company/[redacted] could not help me with my watersofterner issue when I called to schedule the appointment.  If your company cannot service the watersoftener you installed, can you recommend someone that can service the watersofterner? We installed the water softener for the previous owner as a favor to a friend. He understood this was not work we normally perform. He brought in the water sample to a vendor and bought the equipment himself. We just installed it for him.
