To whom it may concern: In regards to the complaint filed by [redacted] and [redacted] we understand there frustration with the insurance company and the deficit regarding the vehicle after the vehicle had a fire in the trunk Obviously from a dealer standpoint we can only be of so much assistanceThe customer at time of purchase did not have enough money to insure the car separately from the loan with a insurance company such as allstate or progressive to allow for substantially better coverage In order to purchase the vehicle they needed to have a state minimum legal requirement which although is significantly cheaper, in instances of a claim as everyone has seen on TV a cheaper insurance plan almost never works out for the better We sympathize with the customer regarding the loan deficit but in no way feel responsible for the shortcoming regarding the settlement with the insurance company Lesson learned is that better coverage may be more expensive but if needed better coverage goes a long ways [redacted] Owner

East Side Auto makes sure it takes great care in prepping each vehicle for sale As the customer stated all our vehicles go thru an independent full vehicle inspection checkThis includes full suspension, computer code read , fluid , safety and also a road test This vehicle was no exception to the rule however after the a sale as with all used vehicles once in a while things happena few days after the sale the customer texted us at night that the vehicle was severely leaking transmission fluid from a burst tranny line and the check engine light had came onEast Side Auto made sure the vehicle was immediately picked up and flat bed towed to Dells/huron Automotive a very highly regarded service center in Green Bay to be independently and professionally diagnosed and fixedThe check engine light and the lines were fixed at NO COST TO THE CUSTOMER a $repair but our dealership does everything it can to provide the best customer serviceAbout weeks after this repair the customer had her boyfriend bring the vehicle to the dealership because she noticed a smell The sales person could not determine that there was a smell and then also had the vehicle sent back to Dells,Huron Auto to be once again independently diagnosed and road testedThey also could not see any issues or smell any unusual smells coming from the vehicle The vehicle was given back to the customerThe customer then over the next few weeks would randomly text the sales man [redacted] that the vehicle still had a smell? Our salesmen continued to ask the customer to bring in the vehicle so we could again take a look but the customer never came with the vehicle months later the customer said they had the issue repaired and would like reimbursementThe vehicle had thousands of more miles on it in addition it had been months after a saleEast Side Auto reviewed the repair job paperwork sent to us and the supposed issue of seized calipers and consulted a third highly regarded repair service shop in Green Bay which agreed that any knowledgeable person knows if a brake caliper is seized driving miles would be difficult as the heat generated would warp the rotors and cause severe damage and smokeWe determined that we feel the customer got taken advantage of while on a witch hunt and had many parts that would have absolutely no bearing on the front braking performance of the vehicle replacedNor had the customer gotten a second opinion before paying a well above market price for a possibly not even needed front brake jobEast side Auto continued to ask the customer to come in to speak with them regarding the issue and the reasoning for their decision but the customer threatened continued slander if they would not be reimbursed for the work that was performed...unfortunately not all customers can be happy no matter how hard you tryEast Side Auto feels it did its best to try and help this customer, but with the lack of cooperation of the customer we could only do so muchWe sold vehicles last year with no complaints but this customer and even a positive Revdex.com feedback from customer we helpedI would consider that a positive customer rating [redacted] Owner East Side Auto Sales LLC

Just purchased my 2nd vehicle from East Side Auto SalesThey helped me with my credit years ago and now I am established and was able to get an even nicer car for a cheaper monthly payment than I had So greatfull for the help

My wife and I purchased from the owner of this location a Lexus IS250, I found the process easy and very fair with everything discussed prior to us purchasing the vehicle. I'm shocked at some of the negative reviews on here as I assume most of these sound like buyers remorse mixed in with bad luck and decisions. Our vehicle has been amazing with a clean car fax which I recommend a buyer checks as this can avoid some or most of the issues I read about. The car was as described works great no check engine lights and no smells lmao, bottom line if you test drive the vehicle and check the background you should be fine! A dealership can only do so much weeks or months later.

This is a terrible dealer with terrible, low quality vehicles. Yes, they will fix the first few minor issues that come with the vehicle (and there will be some), but when the big things start to fall, they disappear. They do NOT care about you as a customer. The manager is your typical fast talking used car salesman. I've had over $1000 worth of repairs and I haven't had a single oil change yet. Buyer Beware! Stay Away!

I strongly recommend purchasing your next vehicle from East Side Auto Sales, in Green Bay WI. Regardless of what the prior negative posts state, within the last four years, I have personally purchased 4 vehicles from East Side Auto. Each and every one of those vehicles we're at an affordable price, and in great condition. The Sales Manager, Oscar, definitely goes above and beyond to find the vehicle that best fits the family's needs. I have personally dealt with Oscar and Javier, and they definitely provided all the needed resources and information, in order to make the right purchase for my family

I bought a car from this dealership roughly a week ago. I have been extremely happy with the vehicle and the quality of service I received. They gave me a great deal and also put new tires and break pads on it for me. While they were working on it they drove me back to my house so I wouldn't have to wait around at the dealership. My brother bought a bike from them a week later and is happy with the service as well. Since he was a new driver they drove it back to his house for him and treated him like family looking out for his safety while encouraging him to get experience out on country back roads. I have had other friends who have also been very happy with their purchases from this dealership in the past and I highly recommend. Both my brother and I worked with [redacted]

They also could not see any issues or smell any unusual smells coming from the vehicle.  The vehicle was given back to the customer.. Nor had the customer gotten a second opinion before paying a well above market price for a possibly not even needed front brake job.. East side Auto continued to ask the customer to come in to speak with them regarding the issue and the reasoning for their decision but the customer threatened continued slander if they would not be reimbursed for the work that was performed...unfortunately not all customers can be happy no matter how hard you try. East Side Auto feels it did its best to try and help  this customer, but with the lack of cooperation of the customer we could only do so much.. We sold 550 vehicles last year with no complaints but this customer and even a positive Revdex.com feedback from 1 customer we helped.. I would consider that a positive customer rating.
