Review: I took my car for repair after it broke down on the highway the tow driver recommended this auto repair show and they quoted me a price to fix what was causing my car to shut off. After I paid the service I drove two blocks to the highway the car cut off. I called the repair shop and no one answered the call. I had to the have my car towed back home. The next day I called the repair shop and he said it was not his fault and he refused to give me a refund or fix the work. He said there was something wrong with the car and I would have to pay more money. He also stated I would have to pay for the towing. The auto shop did honor there first agreement he told me the car and had one problem and he didn't fix that problem he also never did a test drive on the car if he had he would have known that the car was not fixed correctly. The owner of the auto repair shop has a deal with tow truck drivers that if they bring customers to them they will get a cut of the profit. The auto shop scammed me out of $580.00.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded to me they did not do the work on the car that was the cause of the problem. The auto company told me they could fix the problem and they didn't.

With regards to the vehicle 2000 Honda CRV was towed in to East Side Auto for a break down on drive via highway. On diagnostic the technician found the Harmonic damper having a play and by this the alternator belt had come out and broken the belt this was the only reason for the brake down. The motor mount located right in front of the harmonic balancer was badly broken and had advised the customer to replace it that there will be no extra labor fee for this. The customer complied and agreed to fix. The car was left running for 15 minutes for testing and driven around the block.

The customer had called the shop the next day and had advised us the vehicle broke down on the highway and had towed it to her home .the customer had called the shop after hours to speak to someone about the brake down and well knowing the fact that we have a 24 hour parking lot with an attendant for afterhours pick up and drop off. The customer was assured that all repairs made by us to the car will be fully warrantied parts and labor and include the towing even though our shop policy do not cover towing .Customer replied she will think about it and get back to us but insisting all the money back for the repairs
