In response to complaint by *** ***, our diagnostics fee is $89.00...This fee is charged to all customers and covers us coming out the customers home and diagnosing the problem. In this case, we found that the unit was low on refrigerant which does require a leak test. A
leak test requires that the lines be split and gauges put on which is why we would have had to come back to do the leak test for the customer as it does require special equipment and many times we do need to return to start this test...which is not completed all at one time, we leave the guages on and come back and check them over a period of days. I find it highly unusual that our technician would have left the unit without putting it back together & not being able to verify what exactly happened I would have to guess that our office assumed that the leak test was not approved and therefore we would have closed the work order. We have been in business for more than years and we are highly regarded. We always try to see that every customer is beyond satisfied and I regret that Mr*** was unsatisfied with his interaction with us. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to handle this complaint without the trouble of contacting the Revdex.com, I include my name on every statement that goes out and so I am not sure why I (being the person who handles our accounts receivable) was not involved in this before now. The communications I send out even state that if for some reason the bill was not paid for lack of satisfaction to please contact me so that the issue can be resolved. Again, we are sorry that we were unable to provide Mr*** with satisfactory service and will adjust the charges for the invoice in question.Regards,*** ***
