Complaint #No Heat:
When this vehicle was purchased there was an issue with low heat output which was repaired by flushing the internal heat exchanger and this repaired the problemThe delay that the customer experienced in delivery was not because of the no heat repairIt was delayed
because of the emission monitors the have to pass NYS inspection in order for the vehicle to be delivered to the customerThese monitors in most cases take several days for our technicians to reset them to pass NYS inspectionsThe process to reset these monitors requires the technician to drive the vehicle several miles at different speeds and different distancesIn certain instances the monitors reset and sometimes they do not which means the tech has to repeat these steps until they resetWe have had instances of this process taking up to weeks until all the monitors reset correctlyBottom line is that this is required by New York State to be completed before the customer takes delivery of the vehicle
Compliant #Window Not Working:
This was looked at and was recommended that a window regulator was required to repair the problem and work was declinedNo complaint after the original complaint was documented
Complaint #Vehicle stalling and noise up front:
The stalling problem was repaired by cleaning the throttle body assembly no charge to the customer
Noise up front: We replaced a ball joint, both upper control arms and control arm bushingsThese repairs did fix all noises that the customer complained about again at no cost to the customer
Complaint #Weird noise from backend and engine smoking:
We replaced the rear hub bearing which can make a grinding noise and the engine smoking problem was a heater hose that had split and we repaired these again at no charge to the customer
Complaint #Transmission noise:
We do not have the proper tools to troubleshoot or repair the particular transmission in this vehicleSo we had located a *** dealer that would accept the customers extended warranty and recommended that the customer bring the vehicle to them to have the transmission repaired by an authorized dealer
I know that this has been a frustrating ordeal for the customer for the most part the repairs made to the vehicle have been relatively small and we have taken care of all the complaints except for the transmission which unfortunately I have to leave in another dealer hands because of nature of the repairAlso we have covered all repairs and warranty deductibles for this customer

I purchased a vehicle *** *** from east Syracuse Chevrolet on February 15, After being shown the vehicle and giving a down-payment I was told there was no heat and sensors had to be replaced so I waited or days to get me vehicleThe next day my window wasn't working so I called and they said its because it's cold out and uts fineA weeks or so later my car started to sound funny, it kept stalling and the gears weren't working correctlyI called made an appointment and they fixed what they called safety issuesA few days later I'm hearing more noises in the back-end and front end and a weird noise in the transmission area while accelerating and my engine area was smoking for the days so I made an appointment to bring it in, when I bring it in I'm told there was not an appointment and I had to wait two weeks, I have a voicemail from the day before confirming that appointment, when they postponed NY appointment it was after the day lemon lawI went to my appoi

Dear *** *** ***I have reviewed the customer complaint with our Service ManagerThe vehicle was in the shop being worked on for the brake pulsation, after the technician completed resurfacing the front brake rotors and test drove the vehicle it still had a slight pulsationIn efforts to
satisfy the customer, the Service Manager authorized to replace the rotors with newIt is also my understanding that the customer was also offered a ride to pick up his daughter from school but, it was declinedThe customer was being loud and belligerent to my staff and in front of his daughter that was with himWe tried to explain the situation but, he wasn't hearing it

They had the car from 9:20 am till 4:40 pm when I told them I needed it back by 4:00 pm I call at 1:25 pm and they said they working on it so when I got at the shop at 3:35 pm the car was still not done and I was not loud  when I asked then if they had a daughter that was waiting to got picked up at 4:15 pm and the car was still not done they did not say a thing to me and the car was still not done  some sale guy asked me to go and pick up my daughter with him but I  had called my wife at work and she had to go get her for me and I was not being belligerent I just asked them if it was their daughter how would they feel if their car was done and it takes from 1:35 to 4:40 pm to just to turn two rotor then find out that you need to put on two new rotors I was a mechanic  I used to do brakes and  only takes about an hour and a half tops and  some higher up guy in the office said it will be done in 15 minutes and it still wasn't done into 4:40 and that was at 3:45 and I went back to him 16 mins later and he said its still not done and he said you right it should not take that long hour hour and half the most  but if you are paying customer they will get your car done fast but if you need warranty work they put you last that what its all about
