After looking over the deal package it is clear that we properly disclosed all pricing and chargesThe client signed off on each document, including the F&I menu detailing products offered and declinedThe buyers order also very clearly shows all pricing and fees If the client wishes to cancel the GAP or the Warranty, they have the right to do soPlease understand the refunds would be applied to the loan, lowering the amount financed Leo A, General Manager, will reach out to the client and arrange a meeting if they would like to voice any concerns Sincerely,Missi C

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] We went to the dealership to talk about the proposed resolution. They are all aware of it and they are cooperative. We choose to accept the suggested resolution. I hope the dealer will do all the procedures for the Mazda certification should be as the car is now at the dealership for some car acceleration issues. Regards, [redacted] ***

The Mazda dealership had recently purchased that vehicle from our Acura dealership. That would be the reason why it appeared on the website. Only a Mazda dealership can sell a Mazda certified vehicle. Most of our inventory is sold as Certified Ready but not already certified. The selling price... of the vehicle was listed and represented honestly and without deceit. The vehicle would have sold for $1000 more had we certified it. To pack the price into a car that a customer is not interested in does not serve our customers. I've attached a document that was signed at delivery stating the customer would receive the remainder of the factory warranty. Should they be interested in certifying the vehicle we will offer a 50% discount on the price as a good will gesture. Sincerely, [redacted]

Response: Leo has tried several times to reach *** with no successThe refund has been processedI will ask him to once again tryKind regards Missi~

Upon researching this complaint we've learned that the vehicle was purchased at Mazda East Brunswick and serviced twice at our BMW Edison storeThe first was for an oil change and the second for a rattleWe are unaware of any issues with the car let alone the headlightsPlease feel free to
contact our service department for assistance or notifying the individual that has been addressing the headlight situation.Sincerely,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I have yet to hear from LeoI took it upon myself to reach out to the dealership in regards to the cancellations and it was to be forwarded to AnwarYou are correct that the fees charged are on the contract, but you are incorrect in stating we acknowledged and accepted these charges when we didn't even have time to review themThe whole signing process was rushed, the dealership was closing and we had been there for hours - of which we waited just to sign paperworkIn addition, any question asked the response was "yeah, yeah it's okay just sign here, here and here and the papers were folded up quickly and handed back to us after everything was signedUpon completion of the paperwork, we were then told "we'll make it nice and clean for you before you go" as if it was some sort of courtesy from the dealershipClearly not, when you charged us $1,plus an additional $that we had no clue about until we saw how much we still owed in financing a $12,vehicle that we just put $4,down on, which was $12,Lies, deceit and manipulationWe still argue for $1,to be applied to the price owed on the vehicle, in addition to the cancellations being processed in a timely fashion and also applied to the loan.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The used car prep and admin fee of $was not an offer we accepted, nor was the $car wash and detailThose charges should not be incurred by someone purchasing a vehicle from a dealershipAccording to Anwar they are "standard" charges by your dealershipI have spoken to used car dealerships and sales people and those are not "standard" chargesAs such, I am still requesting those fees be removed and am amenable to those fees being applied to the loan, lowering the amount financed In addition, as soon as I am contacted by Leo, the General Manager, we will be cancelling the extended warranty ($1985) that was supposed to be included with the purchase of the vehicleThe GAP ($895) will also be cancelled and understand both will be applied to the loan, lowering the amount financed
