After I drove three hours to pick up my pitI got back home, and the first time I tired to use my burners to cook beansWe noticed flames shooting out of the gas lines fittingsNone of them had been fastenedIt caused myself and another employee to get burntAfter I made a call to them explaing what happened, and basically all they said was oh well, I guess you need to fix itWhich we did, BUT in doing so we found that there were cracks in the gas line instruments alsoAlong with amother crack and/or hole in the burner goin into the fireboxWhich caused two huge explosions that I have plenty of witnesses to testify to thatSo being the nice guy I amI very politely wrote them an email explaining all the issues I had been havingI also then explained the terrible rusting of the pit that had already begun after owning it for monthsAlong with handles molding and looking like crap AND falling offSo being that I paid $6,for this pit, and already having ALL these issues, not to mention just letting the gas line problems, and employee getting burned, go! I only asked for $1,- $1,dollars backIn return they then tell me "WE CAN'T GUARANTEE PAINT" when on the website they claim to have the highest qualityI understand a pit is going to get wear and tear, but with the first - months?? NO!
So after all that they said they would send some paint and handles, but that was all they were gonna do, or I could bring the pit to them for repairsWell from I explainedThat I have a business to run, it's why I bought the pit, I can't stop what I'm doing and bring the pit hours away, and be down for weeks, and that I has to fix the issues right away before someone got hurt really badSo I said ok send the paint and handlesAfter that it took me - weeks to get them, aND I only got them because I called and sent emails constantly
After talking with my attorney he agreed that I should get some kind a refundBecause of the time I was down due to repairs, and the cost of time and materialSo I wrote them back, and it took weeks for them to respond, only to tell me they would not refund any money, but again I could bring the pit there for repairsAgain I explained why that wouldn't work, and that it already had been because it had to beAfter that they just turned their back to me, stopped answering emails, and phone calls
Now I have talked to several other people who have had problems with this company but have not gone to the Revdex.com yetI have urged them to do so because it needs to be seen by the publicI strongly recommend buying your smoker else whereWith all the issues and horrible coustomer service, it's absolutely not worth your time or money
