East Valley Family Physicians

In response to the complaint filed in this matter. Dr. [redacted] chose to terminate the physician patient relationship. It is our office policy to not comment on the reasons. The physicians never contact a patient  when they choose to terminate a patient.

I was a patient of Dr. Hopkins but will no longer attend this practice due to the lack of promptness and friendliness of his medical assistants, Tina and Brandi. When you have an issue with a prescription, I would expect a 24hr turn around at best, but throw that idea out the door with his MAs. I am lucky if I get a call back on the 4th day and that includes me having to follow up on the status. As a patient I would expect better customer service and where I am not always having to follow up. This has happened at least 4 or 5 times now. When I brought it to Tina's attention her reply was our computers our down. I told her I've been trying to reach her since 4 days ago, as was my pharmacy. She did not say a word! I asked if she was listening and she said she was trying to go through my file. That was my last straw. I am over having to follow up in their jobs, I don't have time to do someone else's job let alone the patience to deal with bad customer service. I would recommend for new patients to look elsewhere or possibly go to a different doctor with better staff, there are others in this office. And don't waste time or frustration on the horrible medical assistants of Dr. Hopkins, as they truly don't seem to care, which is unfortunate in the healthCARE industry.
