East Village Farm & Grocery

Review: I ordered food / groceries from East Village grocery on seamless. The order arrived after 1 hour when the driver told me he would not be coming up to deliver and demanded that I come down to meet him "if I ever wanted to get my food". I came down only to find the driver had disappeared. I tried calling the driver back, only to have him ignore my calls and hold my food hostage. I then called the restaurant and was told they would be cancelling my order - WHAT? after waiting for an hour, then being ordered to pick up my own food on the street, that now they want to cancel. I insisted on receiving the food I had already paid for. It has been 3 hours and I STILL have not received my food. I called East Village and just got the run around. Worst customer service, I am truly appalled they are still in business. To pay upfront for food delivery and then to never receive it is ridiculous. I also asked if the food could be redelivered from the regular store but was told they would wait for the original driver to come back to the store and then re-send him out. So I get to wait 3 hours (and counting) and then receive de-frozen food is disgusting. Check out their low 1-star rating on yelp for further evidence of more customer horror stories.Desired Settlement: Actually receiving the groceries I paid for would be nice.
