Review: Dear Sir/Madam,I purchased four tickets totaling $93 to see Janeane Garofolo as a birthday gift and celebration for my best friend for the show on Saturday, Novembe[redacted] at 9pm. We arrived at 8:30pm, and upon arrival, we went to the door to present our tickets and were told to stand in the back of the line. While waiting, we noticed that slowly the crowd in front of us disbursed and we were told in a very unprofessional manner by an employee standing outside that there were no more seats available, and the doors were closed. We then asked for standing room, and in an extremely rude and arrogant tone, were also told that there was no standing room either. We asked to speak to the [redacted] and that request was also declined. How is it possible that we arrived at 8:30 the required arrival time of 30 minutes, and were denied entry? Who is responsible for overbooking these performances? How is it legal for this establishment to absorb these fees from customers for services that were never rendered? Not only was I embarrassed that my birthday plans for my best friend were unexpectedly compromised, but I had to endure offensive insults and aggression from their employee who should have made an announcement to all the people who had been standing on line waiting patiently until the doors opened. No announcement, no apologies, no other alternatives were mentioned not to anyone. The attitude was: "There's no more room, I don't know what to tell you." This is totally unacceptable, and really really bad business. My bank card was charged $93.00 for a show that we did not see; we weren't even allowed in the club! How dare they!!I thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. I am providing my contact information so that a resolution can be met in an expeditious manner.
