East West Connection Martial Arts & Wellness Studio

I had originally been in the studio as a kid, then go back into karate in college at a different studio. After graduating from college, I came back to this studio and all I can say is how I missed this place. The Shorin Ryu style taught here is very diverse, drawing on the traditional elements while adapting to more modern applications. Another amazing aspect of this studio is that they're not just about developing your physical ability, but challenges your mind and spirituality in an inviting, open way. They are also inviting to all people, no matter your age or ability. There are students from age 5 to 80, with some people having issues with their knee, back, etc. The instructors are all willing to work with people to modify instruction that will make the style of karate beneficial for anyone. Come try it out, you won't be disappointed!

I have been with East West Connection Dojo for about 6 months now. After taking my son there for karate, I decided to join myself (why should he have all the fun?). It has been great for both of us. I have enjoyed both the physical and metal training, and I particularly like the training style of this dojo. Multiple instructors offer different perspectives, which I find helps me gain a better understanding. I find the staff to be friendly and truly interested in teaching at all levels.

I have been studying martial arts with [redacted] for several decades and have found that the training and instruction technique he uses has helped me maintain my physical fitness at a high level when others my age have ceased to work out or train and have numerous physical problems. I have looked forward to each lesson knowing I will learn something new every time. It also gives me a feeling of confidence that I could defend myself if I am ever attacked on the street.
