East Worthington Village Apartments

Sewage had backed up into my utilities closet Friday 11/01/2019. The smell and the fact that there is standing water with toilet paper and feces still left in the closet is unbearable. I called the emergency maintenance number Saturday 11/02/2019. Left a voicemail and no one came over or called me. Monday morning 11/04/2019. I had to stand outside and track down a maintenance man. Due to the office being closed Saturday-Monday. Tuesday 11/05/2019. I had got off work and went to the office to see if it had been fixed. The landlord told me that it has and to check and make sure. I checked. And the is still standing water and feces. They were gone from the office around 2:30. And my issue still isn’t fixed. I have two children. This isn’t safe or sanitary to be breathing in.

I am hereby Submitting complaint of fraud by East Worthington Village Apartment on ***. The organization falsely reported on my renter history of owing them, without any reason what so ever, without informing me of any due payment, and thereby delaying to pay my security deposit of five hundred and fifty dollars. Falsely took money from me for the remodeled apartment and tricking me into a very poorly maintained apartment. The management and it corporate staff failing to address the condition of the Apartment for Seven months. Apartment management pretending ignorance of corporate intent to deprive me of my security deposit.

Poorly managed. Abysmal security. Non-functioning cameras that "serve as a deterrent" according to the onsite manager. Apartments and amenities in disrepair. Poor customer service. Disregard and lack of concern for tenant's well-being, welfare, and concerns. Hostile management.

my problem starts after I turned in my 30 day notice. I had until October 31st and they entered my residence without permission or notice and threw out a lot of our belongings. they entered my residence on the 19th. I spent 2 hrs going through trash looking for our belongings. they told me that it was their fault and didn't know how it happened. they stated that they would give my deposit and my last months rent and replace what they can. the property manager apologized. I made a list of what they ruined stole or broke and threw away. I told them I want reimburse for my belongings and they are giving me a tough road to go around. I filed a law suit against then. but recently just received that the address I put down is wrong. the thing is I took the address off of my lease. so there is no way that the address is wrong. I went back on my online portal and seen they want to charge me $1,600+ for clean out and damages. (i have pics of how I left unite). I was an amazing tenant for 4 years may have been late on rent once paid in advance most of the time until I did auto payments I tried reasoning with them and they wouldn't return my calls, also told me they didn't think they was going to refund me what I am asking for. and I really cant afford a fancy lawyer. I need some help with this situation please. iv already tried community mediation. and they didn't get anything either.
