[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response given on this complaint was unacceptable Practically the entire letter was a fabrication of falsehoods It should be known that this business will take financial advantage of those in distress over their pets health at the given time First of all this complaint was to be sent to DrValerie M***..NOT to the Practice ManagerAustin M***Follow up to your response...1)..I never received a quote/estimate on anything being done to my pet except the initial blood-work cost The cost of this service was outrageous, but I felt it must be done to rule out other possible underlying health issues At no other time, until I checked out, was I told or shown any of the costs for services rendered to my pet, or the medications being sent home with herNEVER The only financial needs addressed or tapered to was to the clinic's bank account There was no evidence that you cared about the costs being incurred to me during this visit All kinds of medications both given and sent home where not identified until the invoice was printed out to be paid in full$ We left your facility with no understanding of what was wrong with [redacted] .2)Since the blood-work was fine, and the pets temperature not elevated I was told that x-rays should be taken to further identify the health issue I didn't ask the price, nor was given a price for this procedure Once again, the cost was outrageous once shown on the invoice statement There was no time before the payment that the charge was identified, so that I could have asked the "Practice Manager" just what justified such a high cost.3)..The staff's health questionedyes Why? Because individuals coming in contact with your desk staff could contract their illness by being coughed on or given writing utensils with bacteria or germs on them No respect for their patrons health Even the technician had both sides of her nose holes with debris hanging out of them while working with my pet.4)..I continue to stand by my past closing statements of my complaint letter...that costs are "Extreme"...EYVC....does "take advantage of" their "clients" And yes now, especially after your responding by saying that the issues are all mine and that EYVC is so devoted to being the best to their clienteleThe response was nothing but Blah..Blah...Blah...we are so good at what we do.5)..So you don't want my pet back as a client Soyour response to a concerned client is Toodaloo and best in the future Ha, Ha What would make anyone want to take their pet to EYVC after reading some of the online comments, and especially after my horrible experience? My pet was not treated with respect nor good care You were especially, and unacceptably rough with my cat As I indicated in my complaint letter, which you refused to answer until the Revdex.com got involved, it was a competition between the vet and my cat as to who would win the fight.6)..All that was ever needed was for EYVC to answer my concern without the Revdex.com getting involved You were given weeks to respond and evidently didn't care about your practice enough to handle such a letter professionallyNow you have responded, to the Revdex.com, acting deaf and dumb about my concern, I just want others to not have to go through such a trying episode with their pet The only recourse it seems that I had was to warn others though the Revdex.com.7) There was nothing wrong with my cat as it turns out other than constipation I hope that when anyone at EYVC needs a bowel movement that they go to a doctor who charges them $for the visit My cat will not go to you or anyone else for ultrasounds and steroids that the vet suggested she have to determine the health issue she was going through in October.8)..Sham? Disgrace? You are what is wrong with this money hungry society [redacted] & [redacted] let down by you and hit hard in the wallet for nothing

November 28, 2017Dear *** ***,This letter is in response to the complaint submitted on 11/8/with the ID of ***.We have reviewed both the letter and case involved and we feel that the doctor handling this case acted appropriately with the presenting issues the patient had on 10/16/
Client states in his letter that he was in fact given a quote/estimate before any treatment was doneIf he had issues with any of the items/treatments on the estimate this is the time to present them as we can taper care to sometimes address financial concerns.We strive to find a good balance of best medical care while keeping our clients financial concerns in mindIn this case it would seem that *** *** decided to move forward with diagnostics and treatments he felt were reasonable at the time and then later changed his mindAt no time did he ask to speak with our Practice Manager or any other supervisors.*** *** instead decided to write a vicious letter where he questioned everything from our staff's health, to doctor handling, and finally his concerns financiallyEnding the letter by calling our costs "extreme", saying we "take advantage of our clients", and lastly that our office is both a "sham and a disgrace to veterinary medicine".While we value our clients and work with them daily to address any concerns they may have while here at EYVC we do not appreciate *** ***'s tone or accusations and wish to no longer seek to have him as a client hereWe wish him and his pets ail the best in the future.Regards, Austin M***Practice Manager
