Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer’s concerns We completed his fence on 03/22/ My staff has spoken with the customer about his concerns several times this weekHe has spoken with [redacted] (Estimator), [redacted] (Office Manager) and [redacted] (Director of Fence Services) It is my understanding that just today he spoke with Sue twice and [redacted] once So, contrary to the customer’s written complaint we have been willing to discuss the issues with him and are in ongoing dialogue Today, [redacted] committed to send a crew out to clean up the rest of the dirt around the posts We were initially asked to spread the dirt in a garden area, which we did However, we evidently did not pick up as much dirt as the customer expected Of course, it is impossible to get it all as it falls in the grass and cannot be 100% recaptured [redacted] also committed to raise the 15’ stretch of fence to make the top level However, the fence currently runs with the slope of the ground We suspect that once we raise the fence to level the top that the customer will then be dissatisfied with the gap under the fence where the ground dips When the ground is not level there is always a trade-off The more contentious issue seems to be the thickness of the x 6‘s and the customer’s desire for a price reduction The customer is under the impression that the nominal thickness is ¾” when in fact it varies from ½” to 5/8” There was obviously a communication error on our part since the customer didn’t understand this and believes that our estimator stated that it was ¾” thick As I just got back in town I have had no contact with the customer, but understand that he has suggested a price reduction However, I don’t believe that he has indicated the amount that he believes to be fair As a price reduction is the desired settlement, I will consider such I would entertain dialogue between me and the customer concerning what he considers to be fair Since this is the desired settlement I will not send a crew out to raise the small patch of fence or move additional dirt from around posts until I speak with the customerI believe that we have provided the product that was represented and soldWe have also installed a very nice looking fence [redacted] brought back some pictures from his visit last weekThe fence looks great, but I understand that when the ground is not level some do not like the look when the fence follows the terrainI will work with the customer to address his concerns and satisfy him Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction We always work with our customers to resolve their concerns even when we believe that we have done everything right Our commitment is that “Even if it is the first job we did in 1957, if we didn’t do it right, or didn’t do what we said, we’ll fix it for free.” Further, I tell all of our employees that “We do what’s right We don’t cheat and we don’t cut corners That means that sometimes we’ll lose money on jobs, but we’re going to do what’s right.” The higher standard, of course, is to go above and beyond what you know is right and fair in order to satisfy a customer and maintain your pristine reputationWe do that as well [redacted] , PresidentEaster Fence, Deck & Renovations

My husband and I are building a house of our own design and Easter Fence, Deck & Renovations did all of the framing and siding Once we accepted the bid, they were able to start almost right away and the crew, led by ***, even worked in very cold temperatures All in all, it took about a calendar month to complete which included Christmas and New Years Since we designed it ourselves, it was inevitable that we would forget something but [redacted] was able to help us fill in the holes and when something wasn't quite right, able to offer suggestions all while listening to what we wanted, without treating us as if we didn't know what we were doing/talking about like other businesses have done to us in the past Framing included a full story and the enclosing of a daylight basement with many window and door openings and walls inside for rooms We are very pleased with the work and have been recommending Easter whenever we have the chance

Easter Fence built a new deck for us, and they did a great job! We chose aluminum balusters, and they are all spaced perfectly The deck was better than our original, and it turned out so good that we called them back for two more jobs The second time, they replaced two exterior doors, and again did a wonderful jobThe workers are very polite and friendly The third time, they installed replacement windows All the windows are nice and level and open and close smoothly We're getting ready to remodel a small rental house and build a new home for us, and we definitely plan on hiring them for more projects They can do so much more than just build fences!

In May of we met with a salesman from Easter Fence and decided to have them replace an existing fenceWe were told the job would begin on July 7th, I took off work and waited for their arrival to my dismay no one arrivedWhen I called them they said they were a week behindThe job it self was supposed to 3-days to completeWhen they finally arrived they tore down our existing fence LEAVING the post in the ground slightly raisedWorkers were not prepared in that they had to plug in their tools for a chargeAfter they were done, the post still needed attention, the springs to close the gates were NOT attached and on one side they said they needed to fabricate a jig to help the fence pull back to the house.A few weeks later I called them and the secretary told me they were very busy and that the next rainy day they would be out to finishIn October, MONTHS later I came home from work to find workers there removing the post in the groundI asked if they were going to attach the springs and jig? They had no idea about that! Then with no other contact I receive a call from from someone from Easter Fence stating they had JUST noticed the job was NOT finished! I explained the things that were still NOT complete and in the 2nd week in January workers arrived to finish the jobWhen I sent the check minus $for the final payment I explained that due to the $ I spent to reseed where they distributed the grass from removing the post, The time I took off work and they did not arrive, The fact it took months for a 3-day job to be completedand the shear aggravation, Mr*** Easter had the nerve to say he could not come down off the price unless I produce a receipt for my $ lost and because he had already lost money because the job was not closed out
REALLY.....I told him he should get the $from his workers who cost him his "Profit Margin"

They are good at doing what they say they will do They provide options and respect your choice You get a value with them Have known the family for years and felt very comfortable working with them Quality work versus hurry up and finish

My wife and I where considering enclosing our existing deck to make it a screened in porch We had some existing maintenance free decking that was failing and where skeptical about using maintenance free decking againAfter talking with *** at Easter he assured us that his products would perform better than our previous decking and after some research on our old decking it was determined that it was stll under warranty from the original vendorThe guys at Easter helped us with the claim paperwork and in the end we got a significant credit towards our new deck projectIt is important to note that Easter Fence did not sell or install the original decking, yet helped us through the claim process
Our new screened in porch is absolutely fabulous! The level of professionalism and quality of workmanship is over the topTheir workers showed up promptly each dayThey are courteous, knowledgeable, clean and very thoroughThe project took @ a month to complete and I was there every day to check on all the detailsI consider myself a perfectionist and couldn't be happierThese guys are over the top goodThey go the extra mile and absolutely do not cut any corners
I can't wait for spring to really start enjoying our new spaceI would highly recommend them for any service they offer Great company from the owner all the down to the laborers

My experience with Easter fence and deck, has been nothing short of great
I first spoke with *** He came to give me a bid in a timely manner, and returned my calls within hours, and was always very polite and professionalHe was very knowledgeable, and had answers for all my questions
*** and *** were the two carpenters to install my deckThey always arrived on time, worked very hard, taking very few and short breaks (even through hot temperatures)They were both very polite and professional, maintained a very clean work environment, and did an amazing job! They finished in the expected amount of time (days), and it looks amazing I really can't say enough great things about themI have high expectations, and they exceeded themIf we were to hire any other work out, I will be contacting Easter, and requesting these two!

Had Easter fence come in and replace my 91 year old father-in-law's fencing with a simple cedar fence. They were everything I could hope for. They were prompt, on time and very respectful. Though the project had unexpected issues with rocks, Easter went at it without complaint. They also went beyond the original bid as to some changes without an increase. The installers even took the precaution to put a temporary barrier so gentlemans dog could still use the yard. Lastly, they even addressed his neighbors concerns about her fence linking at his fence post, without charging for the extra courtesy...knowing they had no obligation. Simply a terrific group to work with. I'm now talking to them about other home projects. Fine company!
