documents supporting Eastern's position, in order to clearly present our defense, we find it impossible to omit documentation that identifies the complainant.In no form or fashion did Eastern contract [redacted] to perform clearing services at the [redacted] property. [redacted], in fact hired [redacted] for the service. Along with the cleaning service invoice for $4,609.41, we at Eastern received a service agreement and a certificate of completion from [redacted]; both signed by [redacted]. After several hours on the phone with [redacted] and in person with [redacted] and family, [redacted] contacted [redacted] regarding her displeasure with their invoice and service.Eastern's fee for the dwelling settlement was $2,904.08. We challenge [redacted] to verify and validate expenses she had to incur to clean her property totaling $7,513,49, per her complaint. Additionally, [redacted] received a dwelling check in the amount of $4,102.83 after Eastern's Fee and [redacted] payment.Regarding the draft check from [redacted]'s insurance company, **, [redacted] signed an endorsement authorization at the time she obtained Eastern. This allows our office to sign checks on client's behalf for speedy deposit and disbursement to clients and vendors. Checks are then deposited in groups several times a week. Upon our internal review, we have concluded that check in question was inadvertently presented to our bank without lender endorsement. The check was not cancelled so we were unaware of the mishap until we received the insurance department complaint. Eastern has not and will never attempt to endorse a check on behalf of a lender.Finally, Eastern contends that we performed our service properly. [redacted]'s feelings about [redacted]'s invoice and service should be directed to [redacted], considering she executed a service agreement as well as a certificate of completion, Her claims that she never signed these documents or our Eastern agreement and endorsement authorization are absolutely false and will be identified in our supporting documentation.
