We were first notified of the sagging gutter mid-January and had an installer out there shortly after thatHe found that the gutter at the rear third floor was sagging in the middle due to a buiof ice that had caused the existing moulding that the gutter was attached to to pull away from the
houseA quote was provided, for $500, to remove the gutter and replace the old moulding with new moulding and then reattach the gutter but the work would need to be performed when weather conditions improved and the ice was out of the gutterThe weight of the gutter and the height made it unsafe to do the work right awayThe owner agreed to have the work doneUnfortunately, the weather has been horrible ever since with multiple snow storms and bitterly cold temperaturesThe gutter is three stories high for part of it and the other part is above a lower snow covered roofThese conditions make it unsafe for our installersAs a result of the weather conditions delaying the work, we have offered to make the necessary repairs to the dormer gutter and moulding at no cost in exchange for the patience waiting for the area to be worked on to be free of ice and snowWe have no way of pinpointing exactly when that will be as we continue to have storms every few days
