Complaint: ***PICS cleared me 6/21/- this you know My rights restored by NY State has been cleared for years now - approved by NICS So - your reason for not honoring your WORD because I'm not cleared by PICS holds not wait !!! At this point, you are holding up this simple transaction your demeanor demonstrate bias and slanderous remarks only show how petty this situation has become I'm still here and not going anywhere There's still time for you to do the right thing here Please don't offer to receive phone calls when your challenged to respond to your previous message by myself, PICS and my representing attorney Don't let your pride get the best of you - my remark that $is crippling your empire was a cheap shot - I acknowledge this To me - this is about a person of your statue (Gunshop owner / FFL dealer), taking advantage of a miscommunication between NICS and PICS to squash a deal - take a deposit and to diminish the character of the prospective client who can't the Easternarms the build a repot for hunting / fishing / camping If I turn my back on this issue I ligitimize shop owners who bend policy to they favor to get over on a ligit customer (not necessarily involving firearms) So what's the message here - what are we ultimately portraying to the community that we're in (hunting/fishing/camping), to the next prospective client that will ultimately walk through your door? If someone previously had a "history" as you said and cleared by PICS / NICS or any other orthority - that they're not welcome to your shop? To be prepared for hostile aggression?? It's you, Mark, that sets the tone here and you were doing right by me up to the point PICS suggested that my license be ran through your store - that I was cleared (07/10/2016) At that point you became evasive and confrontational I came to the Revdex.com because this was the only manner I felt you would respond too - so far it's been effective however, we have no conclusion So, what's the message you are going to send to the community we are in - the next prospective client with a similar situation I had ??? 8/22/2016Dear *** ***,We are in receipt of your letter dated 8/12/regarding *** ***, complaint ID *** *** placed a firearm on layaway in November of and was Denied of that purchase by the Pennsylvania State Police PICS UnitHis Sdeposit is non-refundable and is
stated as such on the Layaway Contract that he signed with usHe did come back to our store in June stating that he had been cleared of any wrong doing associated with that denial, but did not produce the necessary paperwork issued by the Pennsylvania State Police PICS UnitHad *** *** provided us with the appropriate state issued paperwork, we would have applied the deposit to the purchase price of the gun and proceeded with the transaction as he requested.We are a State and Federally regulated business with regards to firearms purchases and unfortunately cannot help him in this matterOur employees did the correct thing by not selling or transferring the firearm to him and not returning his deposit.If you wish to follow up with me at the store, our number is ###-###-####The phone number for the PA State Police PICS Unit is *** and the Challenge Unit is ###-###-####.Sincerely,Mark S., Owner and FFL
