Eastern Carry Out Reviews (1)
Review: On November 8, 2013 around 6 pm I ordered from Eastern Carryout via phone and paid using a debit card. I was told to show the delivery driver my card and ID once he/she arrived. The last couple of times, drivers tried to make a copy of my debit card by placing it underneath receipt paper and going over it with a pen. I told them not to make a copy of my card because they could easily make unauthorized purchases because they now have an image of my card. The drivers always complied. But this time the driver was irate when I told him not to make a copy of my card. He then yelled saying that is how they conduct business and he opened his glove compartment box. Inside was at least 25 receipts with the images of customer’s cards. I had reached back into the car to retrieve my card and as I was taking the card back, the driver put his car window up on my arm.
I am reporting them because I do not believe that it is ethical or legal for a company to make handmade copies of their customer’s credit and debit cards.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from the company for the rude and dangerous behavior of the delivery driver and I want them to stop insisting that they make copies of people's credit and debit cards.
