Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintI did not authorize removal of transmissionI did not receive any form of communication indicating further service beyond PAN review—per receipt Regards, [redacted]

I understand Mr [redacted] complaint is now directed primarily toward the electrical contractorWhile we understand his concerns, it is Air Design's view that there is nothing further we can do to directly reply to Mr***s complaintWe noticed that Mr [redacted] does not believe he interacted with the city inspector as noted in his response, but affirm that the city inspector was the second individual who accompanied the electrician on the day in question, as evidenced by the inspection report provided previously, which also indicated the job was completed to code

We provided a bid for a new furnace replacement The consumer accepted We did credit $1,for those service callOn the furnace was fully replaced Consumer paid in full This matter is resolved

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Hello, I never spoke with the L & I inspector I let the electrician into my house, showed him where the unit and electrical box were, then dug into the work I could accomplish from home After an hour or so, the electrician said they were done but I was on the phone at the time When I finished the conversation I went to the panel and there was no one at my residence anymore I received a text from the electrician saying everything was just fine and the inspection was good The electrician was not the same person that previously completed the installation on the AC unitI was not informed that there was to be an L & I inspection I would have to give up another days work for Nor should anyone be told that their homes power would be shut off if not complying with another day of lost wages This should have been coordinated to occur during the 8AM to 6:30PM I spent at home for the installationI had a family friend come by in the evening and take the time to listen to the unit, look at the electrical panel and inform me that everything was done at a bare minimum level The lights will flicker every time the pump kicks in and it is already beginning to make a loud thump sound when the air kicks in I sent a text to the electrician that showed up for the inspection letting him know that Gregg and Eric both said the problems I am experiencing were an easy fix that a competent and conscientious electrician would have handled during installation The text called him the liar that he is and let him know how I feel about companies that do this sort of thing to people and the asset they spend years buyingI worry now about fire hazards, my furnace being damaged by this, and catastrophic property damage due to the overstressed electrical systemI do not accept, "He's mean!", as a resolution to my problems This is my home and I expect people that work on it to respect that and leave it just as safe and cared for as it was to start That did not happen here Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Up at 4:45AM and too cool for AC. Asleep by 9PM and the install was in summer. Did not notice the flicker in the lights for several weeks. HVAC company equipment performing as needed but would hope they look further into the electrical company they are using. Maybe let future customers know they will have to lose a second day of work for L & I inspector hour windows so it can be budgeted for. They threaten to cut off power to your home and wonder why they get angry responses on the phone. The electrical company should coordinate same day work plus inspection. Eagle Electric is culpable but HVAC coshould be aware and inform their customers to the added lost work time. I have spread the word to several friends in the trade unions about the electrical company and hope it spreads past the few new sub divisions they are involved with
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

May 28, Revdex.com Attn: Cindy R*** North Church Street Greenville, SC Dear R***, Thank you for forwarding Ms***’s complaint to me for responseMs***’s vehicle was brought to my repair facility on 5/7/We did a free performance check that included a free pan drop and examination. This review determined that there were definitive signs of internal damage to the transmission that could only be fully estimated based on damaged by doing an internal inspection service We explained this needed service to Ms*** on 5/7/and she authorized this service at 12:that day for the amount of $786.00. Once we completed the approved inspection we called Ms*** to review the findings and recommended a transmission rebuild serviceMs*** was told this amount would go towards the total labor for the necessary rebuildMs*** unfortunately decided not to have the required repairsIn these circumstances we always reassemble the transmission for the customer and put it back in the vehicle so that we can ensure all parts are included and the unit does go back to the customer as we have found it. Ms*** requested to have it placed in a box for return however that is not our process due to the issues of missing items or liabilities Ms*** had the police review this situation with us and they recorded a release of liability if anything was missing so that it could be returned without reassemblyWe complied with this request and returned her vehicle At this time we have only complied with all of Ms ***s authorizations and requests for herIf we can ever help Ms*** in the future with her needed repairs we will be happy to do this however payments that were previously made were by her request and services were honoredIf there are any recommendations that the Revdex.com would like to make for either us please let us know at any time Thank you again for you assistance in this matter Sincerely, Dean Dean B*** Operator MrTransmission 864-***

This is a customer that we have tried to resolve his issue for him and he has made it very difficult to do so Our sub contractor who is an electrician, he scared off the property to the extent that he is refusing to go back He was verbally abused at the customer's job site He is
the only person who can address an electrical issue or concern He did certify the job is working properly We also had an L&I Inspector who went out He has also refused to go back I believe he has put this in writing with L&I that this is not a safe work environment That he was sworn at and chased off the property essentially by the homeowner He certified that the job was done properly The system is working properly but has also refused to go back because of how he was treated by the customer It makes it very difficult to resolve his issue if the people that go out and like I said its not just Air Design folks but also our electrician and and a L&I representative who have now been scared off that property and refuse to go back

3/03/2017Mr ***'s vehicle arrived Dec 13th 2013.We agreed to a price and repaired his transmission and issued a year warranty.Mr *** brought vehicle in May 5th and ask us to install his alternator, and charge him labor for same.We agreed.Mr ***'s vehicle was towed in July 30th
and determined to have a bad fuel pump which he paid to have repaired.Mr ***'s towed his vehicle to us Feb 24th for a no start issue.Vehicle started ok on arrival & could find no malfunction.(no charge).Mr *** brought his vehicle in Dec 5th 2016,we determined he has a probably bearing noise in the transmission.Warranty had expired one year prior. I would be willing to give Mr *** some consideration for prior repairs, but I would not be willing to repair for no charge and extend an expired warranty. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Dean B*** c/o Mr Transmission complete Auto care *** ** *** Dr GreenvilleS.C

I am rejecting this response because:Hello, I never spoke with the L & I inspector.  I let the electrician into my house, showed him where the unit and electrical box were, then dug into the work I could accomplish from home.  After an hour or so, the electrician said they were done but I was on the phone at the time.  When I finished the conversation I went to the panel and there was no one at my residence anymore.  I received a text from the electrician saying everything was just fine and the inspection was good.  The electrician was not the same person that previously completed the installation on the AC unit. I was not informed that there was to be an L & I inspection I would have to give up another days work for.  Nor should anyone be told that their homes power would be shut off if not complying with another day of lost wages.  This should have been coordinated to occur during the 8AM to 6:30PM I spent at home for the installation. I had a family friend come by in the evening and take the time to listen to the unit, look at the electrical panel and inform me that everything was done at a bare minimum level.  The lights will flicker every time the pump kicks in and it is already beginning to make a loud thump sound when the air kicks in.
I sent a text to the electrician that showed up for the inspection letting him know that Gregg and Eric both said the problems I am experiencing were an easy fix that a competent and conscientious electrician would have handled during installation.  The text called him the liar that he is and let him know how I feel about companies that do this sort of thing to people and the asset they spend 30 years buying. I worry now about fire hazards, my furnace being damaged by this, and catastrophic property damage due to the overstressed electrical system. I do not accept, "He's mean!", as a resolution to my problems.  This is my home and I expect people that work on it to respect that and leave it just as safe and cared for as it was to start.  That did not happen here.

Mrs. R[redacted],I did not receive a call stating they were inspecting my car beyond PAN review. I did not speak with Mr. Dean on 05/07/18, he was out sick. I spoke with the technician. The technician assured me they would not go beyond the PAN inspection ($194 + $55 towing)without advising me first. The technician stated if they could not make determination with PAN inspection they would inspect further BUT, would notify me first. I asked how much would that cost, he stated around $700.00. I did not authorize pulling my transmission. Had I agreed to the service I would not have had an issue with putting the transmission back into my vehicle. I have been around and around with this it seem we are getting no where. At this point I will be pursuing legal counsel.Thank you,[redacted]

While we understand his concerns, it is Air Design's view that there is nothing further we can do to directly reply to Mr. [redacted]s complaint. Assigned ID [redacted] March 7, 2017 Revdex.com Upstate South Carolina[redacted]408 North Church Street Suite CGreenville, SC 29601Dear Ms. [redacted],We have done a complete review of Mr. [redacted]’s recent complaint to your agency. We have determined the following findings. The original transmission repair was completed on December 13, 2013.  During the three years since his repair we have serviced Mr. [redacted]s vehicle for automotive issues that are unrelated to any transmission repairs. We did check the first transmission issue since his original repair on December 5, 2016 which was one year out of warranty.  None of the previous repairs were found to be related to the original transmission repair.  At this time, we told Mr. [redacted] that we would inspect the transmission further and give him consideration on any needed items or repairs. However, if repairs were needed they would not be covered by the original warranty since it was one year out of warranty.  Mr. [redacted] declined any possible transmission inspection at this time to determine the problem and its origin.  Upon receipt of the letter from Revdex.com regarding repairs that had been completed at a later date by [redacted] we did call them directly to investigate the items and clarify the items that were addressed.  They did state that over the last three years a bolt had come loose on the transfer gears and that of course is an item that sometimes occurs on this type of transmission.  [redacted] stated that they did rectify the item at no charge at this time.Again, we had offered to inspect the vehicle initially for Mr. [redacted] which would have led to these findings however he did decline to consider at that time. Mr. [redacted] choose to have this review at another location and we are happy that Mr. [redacted]s items are corrected by the means he choose to move forward with.Mr. Transmission has honored all original repairs, services and warranty periods regarding Mr. [redacted]s transmission and vehicle.  Therefore, we deem this case and service rectified beyond all contracts, ethical standards and legal requirements. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Warm regards, Dean B[redacted]Mr. Transmission864-[redacted]
