They protected the floors, wrapped my furniture and reassembled my bed It was a really good move They didn't rush and were super polite They didn't contact me much--so if that worries you--call them and confirm a few times They were dependable!

I recently moved from Vancouver to [redacted] with about 1000lbs worth of stuffI researched many companies and was weary of many of them due to poor online reviews or high costs When I spoke to [redacted] at Eastern Cross, I was at ease and felt like he genuinely cared about the moveI was given some tips on how to pack boxes to avoid breakage and make sure things got to my destination in a good state Things were picked up from my apartment in a prompt fashionI did help bring down boxes since I was on the 2nd floor but that was ok with meI was given a tracking number and weight of my goods as soon as they arrived to the train stationIn [redacted] , I was contacted by the affiliate company for deliveryEverything arrived in impeccable shape, much to my surprise I did not expect everything to be in perfect shapeOften with long distance moves a few scratches and dents are expected, as are missing items, but everything was delivered as it was picked upThe cost was quite reasonable and the service was good My suggestion if you have a home insurance policy is to inquire about coverage while you move, as I found mine to be superior than the one which is included with commercial rail (and most long distance movers, period)This is not unique to ECI; most long haul movers cover per lb, so if you have home insurance ask about it! Things were picked up from my apartment in a prompt fashion. I did help bring down boxes since I was on the 2nd floor but that was ok with me. I was given a tracking number and weight of my goods as soon as they arrived to the train station. In [redacted], I was contacted by the affiliate company for delivery. Everything arrived in impeccable shape, much to my surprise.

I did not expect everything to be in perfect shape. Often with long distance moves a few scratches and dents are expected, as are missing items, but everything was delivered as it was picked up. The cost was quite reasonable and the service was good.
